Taygeer 40x30x20 cm Underseat Cabin Backpack with 15.6-inch Laptop Compartment

Travellers looking for a 40x30x20 cm bag for Ryanair’s free hand luggage allowance get a backpack designed around that cabin-bag size. Its suitcase-style opening and separate compartments make packing easier to organise. If your priority is a compact bag for the flight, it offers a different approach from a traditional cabin case, if you also need one for work or university, the laptop compartment adds everyday practicality.

What matters most

The main compartment opens fully to 180 degrees, giving you a clear view of clothing and toiletries as you pack or unpack. A separate shoe pouch keeps footwear apart from the rest of your belongings, while the built-in water-resistant pocket is intended for damp towels or toiletries. Together, these features help keep travel essentials in order, whether you are preparing for a short trip or packing items for a commute.

A dedicated laptop compartment accommodates a laptop up to 15.6 inches. The front compartment has pockets for items such as pens and books, so smaller work or study essentials have their own place rather than being mixed into the main section. The bag measures 40x30x20 cm and is described for use as underseat hand luggage on Ryanair flights. Airline baggage rules can vary, so check the dimensions for your specific journey when travelling with another carrier.

Who it’s for

This backpack suits travellers who want their cabin bag to work beyond the airport: the laptop section and front pockets support work or university use, while the shoe pouch and wet pocket are useful for keeping different kinds of belongings separate. It is also suited to everyday outings when a compact backpack is more practical than a larger travel bag. Choose it for organised packing and hands-free carrying rather than the rigid structure of a conventional cabin case.

Practical tips

Pack the main section as you would a small suitcase, using its full opening to arrange clothes and toiletries. Keep shoes in the independent pouch and damp items in the water-resistant pocket. Place a laptop of up to 15.6 inches in its dedicated compartment, with frequently used smaller items in the front pockets for easy access.

For airport transfers, the back luggage strap lets you secure the backpack to a suitcase handle. Mesh on the back and shoulder straps provides the contact surface for carrying it on your back, while double handles offer another way to lift or carry the bag. Side buckles are part of the design. The exterior is water-resistant, and the bag is made from nylon with a polyester lining and reinforced metal zips.
