## Description

This compact Tapo humidity meter monitors room temperature and relative humidity in real time, making it useful for nursery rooms, greenhouses and general indoor monitoring. It reports measurements every two seconds and sends instant alerts to your phone when readings fall outside set ranges, helping you react quickly to changes.

## Key Points

The Tapo T310 is a small, battery-powered hygrometer that tracks temperature and humidity with manufacturer‑stated accuracy of ±0.3 °C for temperature and ±3% RH for humidity. It supports home automation so you can trigger smart plugs or other devices when conditions move outside your preset limits. Setup is straightforward using the free Tapo app, and voice control is available for basic temperature queries via [amazon](https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-Tapo-Temperature-Notifications-T310/dp/B0BLZFJBT2?tag=ukoftitasto-21) Alexa and Google Assistant. Consider that full smart features require a compatible Tapo hub, such as the Tapo H100 or H200, sold separately.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Tapo T310 Smart Humidity Meter**
- Temperature accuracy: ±0.3 °C
- Humidity accuracy: ±3% RH
- Update interval: 2 seconds
- Battery life: 2 years (according to the manufacturer)
- Cloud storage: Up to 2 years free data storage

## Advantages

This sensor offers continuous logging and visual graphs in the app so you can review trends over days or months and export data if needed. The combination of rapid updates and long battery life means it can be left in place for extended monitoring without frequent maintenance. It is lightweight and versatile in placement, which helps when you need a device for different rooms or temporary setups.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the device away from direct sunlight and heat sources for the most accurate readings. Mounting options include hanging with a cord, fixing with adhesive or magnet, or simply leaving it on a flat surface, making repositioning hassle‑free. If you plan to integrate it into automated routines, ensure your region’s Sub‑1G band is compatible with the chosen Tapo hub and check that the hub model supports the required features.
