## Description

## What it is
Taiyeestar offers a 10-pack of small suitcase locks with keys. Each lock is built around a brass cylinder with a plastic body and a steel hook, designed to be durable and corrosion resistant while remaining compact for travel. The set comes in 7 colours, with a colour-coded key that matches the lock for easy identification and reassurance while on the move.

## Why it matters
If you travel frequently, organise a backpack, or keep valuables in a gym or office locker, a compact lock can reduce scramble and help you identify your bag quickly at the carousel. The small 35 x 23 mm footprint makes them easy to slide onto zippers or latch keeps without bulk.

## What stands out
The kit’s colour variety is practical: bright hues aid quick visual recognition of your luggage or bag compartments. The keyed design provides a simple, low-tech security option that doesn’t rely on electronics or batteries. This can be appealing for short trips or day-to-day use where a lightweight, unobtrusive lock is preferred.

## Potential limitations
On the downside, these are basic padlocks with keys, not heavy-duty security devices. If you prioritise high resistance to tampering or longer-term, high-stress luggage security, you may want to consider more robust options. Also, with 10 locks and 7 colours, it’s possible to misplace a key or mix colours if you’re not organised.

## Ideal users
This set is well-suited for travellers who want an affordable, straightforward way to secure suitcases, backpacks, diaries, tool boxes or lockers. It also works for families or groups that need multiple locks in varied colours for quick differentiation.

## When it makes sense to buy
Choose this kit if you value portability, easy identification, and a basic level of security for routine travel or daily use. It’s a pragmatic option when you need several locks at a sensible price point and aren’t seeking industrial-grade hardware.

## When to pass
If you need maximum security, heavy-duty metal construction, or locks resistant to more sophisticated tampering, this kit may not meet your expectations. Also, if you’re not keeping track of keys carefully, the permutation of 10 locks could become confusing.

## What to check before purchase
Ensure the lock dimensions (35 x 23 mm) suit the bags you plan to secure. Confirm that you’re happy with a key-based system rather than combination locks, and think about how you’ll store and manage the 10 keys across colours.

## Practical usage example
Imagine you’re packing multiple handbags and a travel tote. Each item gets a distinct colour lock so you can quickly spot which bag belongs to which family member. When you land, a quick unlock with the matching key gets you past the luggage belt without fumbling.

## What you get (In the box)
Ten small padlocks, available in 7 colours, with matching colour-coded keys.

## FAQ
- Are these locks weather resistant? They’re designed for routine travel use, with materials described as durable and corrosion resistant, but they’re not advertised as weatherproof heavy-duty hardware.
- Can I mix up the colours? The keys correspond to lock colours, which should help with organisation, but keep track of which key belongs to which lock.
- Is the security level high enough for a suitcase? For everyday travel and standard luggage, they provide basic security, for high-value items or high-risk environments, consider stronger locking options.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you want a budget-friendly, lightweight, ready-to-use set for multiple bags or travel items. It’s a sensible choice for casual security and easy identification, provided you don’t require industrial-grade protection.
