## Description

This TACVASEN winter jacket combines a waterproof outer shell with a cosy fleece liner to keep you warm on chilly walks and on the slopes. It is a windproof, water resistant coat that supports active winter lives while remaining breathable and light enough to avoid bulky layering.

## Key points

The jacket blends a water repellent polyester softshell with a furry fleece lining in both the body and the hood, delivering warmth without excessive weight. Practical details include two large zipped side pockets, a zipped chest pocket and an internal pocket for small essentials. Adjustable wrist straps and bungie cords at the hem and hood help seal out cold draughts. The hood is detachable, so you can switch between full coverage and a cleaner silhouette depending on the weather and activity. Two to three layers underneath are usually enough, according to the manufacturer.

## Specifications

- Material: Polyester outer, fleece liner
- Colour: As listed by retailer
- Features: Waterproof breathable shell
- Hood: Detachable with adjustable bungies
- Pockets: Two side zip, one chest zip, one interior pocket

## Benefits

You get reliable protection from light rain and wind while keeping movement easy, which is useful when walking the dog or heading up a local hill. The fleece liner adds immediate warmth from first wear, and the removable hood keeps the jacket versatile across different conditions. Note that the water resistance comes from a treated coating rather than full waterproof membrane, so heavy prolonged downpours may need extra protection.

## Best use cases

For everyday winter use and outdoor pursuits this coat works well. It suits casual walking, commuting, skiing and snowboarding as a mid‑layer or outer shell in milder wet conditions. It makes sense if you want a practical, adaptable jacket that balances warmth and mobility, with simple care and repair options.
