## Description

## What it is
Sunstreaker in the Earthrise line is a 14-cm action figure that converts from robot to G1-inspired sportscar in a 15-step process. This model is pitched at collectors and play alike, offering a nostalgic look with a modern articulation and a blaster accessory.

## What it solves
For fans looking to expand a Transformers display or create space-battle dioramas, this Sunstreaker fulfils two roles: a poseable figure for figure photography or display, and a conversion toy that supports imaginative play through conversion sequences and compatible modules.

## Why it stands out
Key strengths on the page include the classic G1 vehicle homage, the explicit conversion steps, and the potential to connect with other Earthrise figures to build larger battlefield scenes (modules sold separately). The inclusion of a map piece and decoder adds a collectibles angle beyond the figure itself.

## What to watch for
The ecosystem design relies on additional figures to realise the full battlefield concept, so if you’re looking for a self-contained display, you’ll need to consider additional purchases. The modular expansion is not guaranteed to be compatible with every other line, and availability of modules varies.

## Who it’s for
This is well-suited to long-standing Transformers enthusiasts who appreciate era-specific aesthetics and who enjoy building display scenes or dioramas. It also fits younger fans who are ready to explore a 14-cm figure with a clear transformation sequence.

## Who it isn’t ideal for
If you prioritise a highly poseable, slam-dunk playset with extensive electronic features or a standalone display, this figure may feel limited without the broader Earthrise ecosystem. Those who only want one self-contained figure may find the expansion aspect less compelling.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider this Sunstreaker when you’re building a Retro/Classic G1 display, or if you’re collecting Earthrise figures to piece together a larger map and space-battle scenes. If you enjoy the process of transforming models and linking scenes, it offers a tangible value.

## What to review before buying
Check if you already own other Earthrise pieces you’d pair with it, and confirm you’re comfortable with the 15-step conversion process. Also, verify whether you want more map pieces and decoders to complete the universe layout.

## Practical usage example
Imagine placing Sunstreaker on a shelf, then rotating through the 15 steps to shift from sleek sportscar to battle-ready robot. Pair him with a few more Earthrise figures to stage a compact space encounter, using the map decoder as a storytelling prop during display rotation.

## How it compares to alternatives
If you value a complete, self-contained toy, this may feel light on features without the broader modular line. For those prioritising a nostalgic look and collectability, with the option to expand later, Sunstreaker in Earthrise form can be a sensible stepping stone.

## The decision, at a glance
### Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you’re building out an Earthrise collection or want a classic G1 homage with a clear transformation sequence and display potential. Not the best pick if you want a standalone, feature-rich toy without planning to add more figures or modules.

## FAQ
- How many steps does the transformation take? 15 steps to convert Sunstreaker from robot to sportscar.
- Can it connect with other Earthrise figures? Yes, the design supports expanding the battlefield with other figures (sold separately).
- What’s included with the package? The figure comes with a blaster accessory and a map piece with a decoder to unlock paths on the map.
