## Description

## What this is
This is a 9.5-cm-scale action figure of Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi from Star Wars: A New Hope, part of The Vintage Collection. It’s designed for collectors and fans who enjoy display-worthy figures that nod to the original toy line while fitting into modern collections. The figure arrives with a soft goods robe and a film-inspired deco that echoes the look of Episode IV, making it a restrained but meaningful addition to a Star Wars display.

## Design and display
On the surface, the figure is simple: a compact, well-proportioned representation of the character in 3.75-inch scale. The attention to detail is evident in the robe’s fabric treatment and the character’s facial sculpt, which aims to capture the classic Obi-Wan appearance. If you prioritise authenticity in a compact format, this figure offers a respectful homage to the film’s aesthetic without resorting to oversized or flashy design choices. The packaging harks back to Kenner’s vintage style with a cardback design, contributing to a nostalgic display curve for collectors who enjoy showcasing the era-specific presentation.

## Articulation and poseability
Despite its modest size, the figure includes multiple articulation points—head, arms and legs—to support a range of dynamic or static display poses. This makes it practical for creating classic action scenes or quiet stood-tall poses on a shelf. It won’t replace high-end wall-mounted displays, but for a desk or cabinet corner, the articulation offers enough versatility to vary displays over time.

## Accessories and features
Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi comes with his signature lightsaber accessory and an unlit hilt accessory. The presence of a lightsaber is expected for the character, while the extra hilt allows flexibility in how you present the figure—whether as a ready-for-action pose or a ceremonial, contemplative stance. The soft goods robe adds a tactile element that helps to convey the character’s iconic robe silhouette at this scale. None of these details are oversized, so the figure remains suitable for shelves with other Vintage Collection pieces.

## Packaging and collectability
The packaging design is Kenner-inspired, reinforcing the vintage feel and collectability of this line. The VC number is mentioned as part of the packaging identity, which helps fans reconcile this figure within a broader set. If you value the “cardback nostalgia” aspect of Star Wars toys from the late 70s and 80s, this presentation will likely be appealing and suitable for display in a cabinet or on a dedicated Star Wars shelf.

## Who it’s for and who it isn’t the best for
This figure suits fans who want a compact Obi-Wan option without committing to larger premium figures. It’s a pragmatic pick for younger fans (ages 4 and up, as a guideline) who are beginning or expanding a Star Wars collection, and for older collectors who enjoy the nostalgia and display versatility of a Vintage Collection piece. It may not be the best choice if you’re seeking ultra-detailed sculpts, premium fabric textures beyond a simple robe, or a scale that pairs with 6-inch or larger figures in a curated diorama.

## When it makes sense to buy
If your goal is to build a classic Star Wars display with recognisable characters in a consistent scale, and you appreciate a packaging style that nods to vintage toys, this Ben Kenobi figure offers value. It’s a modest, well-presented option for completing a Rogue One-to-Episode IV arc in a light to medium display, it works well alongside other Vintage Collection releases that share the same 3.75-inch footprint.

## What to check before purchasing
- Confirm you are aligning with a 3.75-inch (9.5-cm) scale for mix-and-match display
- Consider how the soft goods robe fits with the figure’s articulation and posing needs
- Check the packaging condition if you’re a carded-collection purist, since Kenner-inspired cardbacks rely on intact presentation values
- If you prioritise extra headroom for posing, note the limited articulation may feel modest compared with higher-end lines

## How it compares to alternatives
If you want a compact Obi-Wan figure at a reasonable price, this option offers a classic look with nostalgic packaging. For collectors aiming at high realism or extensive poseability, other lines at different scales may provide more detail or movement. However, for an on-shelf companion to a Vintage Collection group, it sits comfortably in the middle ground: not gimmicky, not oversized, with a clear appeal to fans who value the original toy era’s spirit.

## FAQ (practical points)
- Is the robe removable? No, the robe is a soft goods piece designed to stay in place for display balance.
- Does it include extra hands or interchangeable parts? The base package focuses on the lightsaber and unlit hilt, no additional hands are listed.
- Can it stand with larger figures? Yes, it’s designed for compatibility with other 3.75-inch Star Wars figures and diorama setups.
- Is it suitable as a gift for a younger child? It is suitable for ages 4 and up, but keep in mind display-focused features and small accessories.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you value a compact Obi-Wan with vintage packaging and a classic look, and you’re building a display around the original trilogy era. If your priority is maximum detail, extended articulation, or a more premium robe, you might want to look at larger scales or alternative lines. Overall, it’s a sensible, nostalgia-focused addition for a 3.75-inch Star Wars collection.
