Spacelumen 30M Solar Festoon Lights

The essentials

These 30 metre solar festoon lights bring a warm, inviting glow to outdoor spaces without the ongoing cost of mains power. The set features a detachable solar panel and 39 shatterproof Edison-style bulbs, providing dependable light for patios, gardens and balconies. With three operating modes and a practical 8–10 hour run time, they offer flexible ambience for evenings, barbecues or small gatherings. The robust wiring and weatherproof design ensure reliable performance across seasons, so you can enjoy the coloured or warm light every night as the season permits ✨.

How it works and what it offers

Powered by a high capacity 3600mAh solar panel, these lights charge fully in around eight hours of sun and then illuminate throughout dusk and night. On rainy days the built-in USB-C port provides a convenient back-up charging option, keeping the lighting ready for the next clear evening. Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation helps conserve energy and extends battery life, making them a practical feature for year‑round outdoor spaces. The three modes steady on, flashing and breathing allow you to tailor the mood, from steady task lighting to playful party ambience. They are easy to install thanks to an integrated hook design, so you can hang them across a fence, pergola or garden edge with minimal effort and no heavy tools.

Practical use and durability

Constructed with flexible wire and shatterproof bulbs, the lights are designed to withstand typical UK weather conditions including rain and wind. The 30-metre length with bulbs spaced every 0.75 metres and the first bulb placed 3.2 metres from the solar panel creates a balanced canopy of light that covers a generous outdoor area. These lights are ideal for garden paths, patios, backyards or outdoor dining spaces where a subtle, inviting glow is preferred to bright overhead light. In addition to outdoor tables and seating, they work well for outdoor events such as small gatherings or casual weddings, where warmth and atmosphere are important. The overall build quality emphasises durability and longevity, ensuring you get value for money across seasons. 😊
