## Description

## Key features

This large milky white shaggy rug blends soft fibre pile and a cushioned sponge core to create a comfortable surface for everyday living. The 200x300cm size gives generous floor coverage in a living room or bedroom and the plush texture invites lounging, playing or a quiet moment with a book. It is described by the maker as washable, low-odour and colourfast under normal use, so it works as a practical addition rather than a high-maintenance statement piece.

## Technical details

- Name: Sour Lemon Carpet Rugs Living Room Large 200x300
- Size: 200x300 cm
- Material: fibre pile and sponge interlayer
- Height: 2 cm pile, 10 mm sponge
- Feature: non-slip dotted backing

## Why it’s worth it

The combination of a velvet-like fibre surface and a resilient sponge core helps reduce pressure underfoot, which improves comfort when standing or sitting on the floor. The dotted non-slip base increases friction on hard floors and is designed to protect the floor surface while keeping the rug in place. It’s described as not easily shedding and simple to maintain with light vacuuming, and for deeper cleaning a mild hand wash is suggested with air drying away from direct sun.

## Everyday use

It suits busy family rooms and children’s spaces where a soft area for play is useful, but also functions well as a cosy layer beside a bed. It’s a practical pick for dorms or nurseries and can double as a make-do yoga mat when needed. It’s a good fit if you want a large, soft rug that is machine-light in upkeep and offers a neutral milky white tone to complement pale or cream interiors.

## Care & maintenance

Routine care is straightforward, vacuuming with a handheld cleaner keeps the pile tidy. For a deeper clean use mild detergent and wash gently by hand, then hang or lay flat to dry in a ventilated spot. Bear in mind the manufacturer advises avoiding direct sun exposure during drying to preserve colour and texture.
