## Description

## Key points

If you want simple, well balanced desktop audio for a home office or everyday use, the SOULION R50 PC speakers are a practical pick. They use dual drivers to support balanced sound reproduction, so you can enjoy clearer playback for music, calls, and general laptop audio. With USB power and a straightforward AUX connection, setup is quick, which helps if you just want something that works with minimal fuss. 🎧

These speakers also add an easy Bluetooth switching workflow, so you can move between your laptop and your phone without changing cables. There is even a rainbow light effect with four modes, giving you a bit of ambience when you are working or gaming. 😊 The slightly slanted design is meant to support better sound transmission, while the breathable outer material helps with day to day comfort.

### What you’ll notice

Expect a clean, office friendly listening experience thanks to the upgraded dual drivers and full range speakers, according to the manufacturer. The R50 is designed for desktop and office use, so it fits naturally alongside a monitor, laptop, or tablet. You also do not need extra software or drivers, as long as you connect the USB power cable properly and use the 3.5mm input correctly. 👍

It’s worth noting that the built in protection feature is designed to help prevent unwanted noise. It relies on an active audio signal, and the speaker will not automatically mute while audio is present. That matters if you are switching between sources during meetings or listening sessions.

## What to know

### Balanced audio for desk set ups

The R50 is built around dual drivers with a 5W*2 configuration, using 2 full range speakers for balanced sound reproduction, according to the manufacturer. That combination is intended to suit typical desktop tasks, from listening to music to joining calls, without requiring complicated audio settings. To get the most consistent output, make sure the 3.5mm audio cable is securely connected and that your volume is properly adjusted, as this helps prevent audio loss.

### Plug and play with two ways to connect

Powered via USB, these speakers are designed to work without additional software or drivers. That means you can connect them to PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones using either the 3.5mm AUX input or Bluetooth mode. After you connect the USB cable, you can briefly press the M button to switch to Bluetooth mode, then search for R50 on your mobile device for quick pairing.

If you need to reset the Bluetooth connection, press and hold the light button of the PC soundbar for 3 seconds. This is handy when you are alternating between devices across a typical day. 🌈

### Light effect and desk ambience

The R50 includes rainbow lights on both sides, with four different lighting modes you can switch using a single button press. If you prefer a quieter look for a meeting or focused work, you can briefly press the light button to turn off the RGB effect.

Also consider the physical design choices. The speakers have a slightly inclined design to support sound transmission, and the breathable outer material is described as helping resist dust and providing a comfortable touch. If you are setting the speakers on a desk next to your monitor, this form factor helps them blend into everyday use.

### Compatibility notes before you buy

It supports most devices with a standard 3.5mm jack, including computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, and smartphones, provided you have USB power available. The manufacturer notes that it is not compatible with on iMac, so it is worth checking your setup before ordering. It is also designed to work only when you have USB power, so plan for a nearby USB port.

## Who it’s for

It’s a good fit if you want a USB powered Bluetooth desktop speaker that stays simple to set up with either 3.5mm AUX or wireless pairing. It makes sense if you regularly use a laptop or PC for work and want audio that is stable for daily listening and calls. You may like it if you also enjoy adjustable ambience through the rainbow light modes, without needing extra apps or software.
