Sony WF-C710N Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds, Multipoint, IPX4, White
Product description
Choosing earbuds often comes down to whether you want to tune out surrounding noise or stay aware of it. The Sony WF-C710N gives you both options, so you can adapt your listening to a commute, a busy space or a quieter stretch of the day.
For music, podcasts and entertainment, DSEE upscaling and a customisable five-band EQ in the Sony Sound Connect app let you shape the sound to your preferences. Two microphones on each earbud support noise cancelling, while AI-powered voice pickup helps make hands-free calls clearer.
The white in-ear design also brings multipoint connection, IPX4 water resistance and up to 40 hours of total battery life with the charging case. That combination makes it easy to move between listening, calls and everyday wear.
Tech summary
The WF-C710N offers noise cancelling and Ambient Sound Mode, giving you a choice between reducing surrounding noise and hearing more of your environment. This is useful when moving between focused listening and commutes or busy places. For a tailored sound, DSEE upscaling works alongside a five-band EQ in the Sony Sound Connect app, with adjustments for music, podcasts and other entertainment.
The earbuds provide up to 40 hours of total battery life, or up to 30 hours with noise cancelling on. Fast charging can provide one hour of playback from a five-minute charge, handy when you need a quick top-up before heading out. For calls, AI-powered Precise Voice Pickup is designed to isolate your voice and reduce background noise. Multipoint lets you connect to two Bluetooth devices at once, such as a phone and laptop, and switch between them without reconnecting.

Compatibility & requirements
The WF-C710N is listed for use with iOS and Android, as well as PC and Mac. Fast Pair and Swift Pair support quick setup, while the Sony Sound Connect app provides access to the customisable EQ and earbud controls. Multipoint is useful if you regularly alternate between two Bluetooth devices, such as taking a call on your phone and then returning to audio on your laptop.
The supplied S, M and L earbud tips give you a choice of sizes when fitting the earbuds. IPX4 water resistance suits everyday wear, workouts and light rain, including listening while travelling on foot or exercising outdoors.
Usage tips
Use noise cancelling when you want to focus on a podcast or music in a noisy environment, then switch to Ambient Sound Mode when you want to remain more aware of what is happening around you. The two modes make the earbuds adaptable to changing settings without changing your listening routine.
For calls in an office, on public transport or outdoors, the AI-powered voice pickup is designed to reduce background noise around your voice. If you move between a mobile phone and a computer during the day, connect both through multipoint to switch between them without repeatedly pairing. Before a workout or a journey, the charging case helps extend listening time, a five-minute fast charge is useful when time is short.
What to clarify
Can I choose how much of my surroundings I hear? Yes. Noise cancelling reduces background noise, while Ambient Sound Mode lets more surrounding sound through. You can choose the mode to suit your setting.
Can I connect the earbuds to my phone and laptop at the same time? Yes. Multipoint supports two Bluetooth devices at once, with switching between them without reconnecting.
What comes in the box? The set includes the earbuds, a charging case and earbud tips in S, M and L sizes.
