Sniper Elite: Resistance PS5

Sniper Elite: Resistance for PlayStation 5 puts you in a fresh World War II thriller where stealth and choice shape every mission. This expansion follows a parallel story to Sniper Elite 5 and casts Harry Hawker of the SOE at the centre of a hunt for a devastating Wunderwaffe, offering branching objectives and varied approaches to play. If you search for a tactical shooter with strong single‑player options and replay value, this title blends narrative stakes with flexible infiltration and extraction planning.

Highlights

The campaign delivers multiple Kill List targets and a range of infiltration and extraction points, so you can craft a personal playstyle across missions. The visceral X‑ray kill cam returns, emphasising the impact of each shot with dramatic slow motion, and handguns and SMGs now trigger kill cams too. Propaganda missions add a different rhythm by letting you assume the role of French Resistance fighters in short, time‑sensitive scenarios. Axis Invasion mode increases tension by allowing another player to invade your campaign as an Axis sniper, creating unpredictable moments and a persistent sense of threat.

Getting the most from it

Experiment with weapon customisation at workbenches found in the campaign to match kit to the mission, from scopes to magazines and barrel changes. Choose ammo types deliberately, because armour‑piercing rounds and non‑lethal options change how encounters play out. It’s a good fit if you enjoy methodical pacing and emergent moments from stealth decisions, and worth considering if you value replayability through alternate routes and objectives.

What’s included

This release centres on a new operative story arc with campaign missions, Propaganda scenarios and Axis Invasion support. Note that availability of physical or digital editions depends on the retailer, and platform features require a PlayStation 5 to run.
