## Why it’s worth it

This P96 panel balances convenience and control. With a CRI95 rating it aims to render skin tones naturally according to the manufacturer, which helps when filming portraits or close‑up shots. The 120° beam angle gives a soft spread without harsh hotspots, and having three cold shoe mounts plus a 1/4in threaded hole allows straightforward mounting on cameras, cages or stands. A practical note, the battery may need a 2–4 hour initial charge to activate, so allow time before first use.

## Best use cases

Compact and straightforward, the P96 works well for desk setups, short run-and-gun shoots, product stills and social clips. It is handy for video calls and mobile livestreaming, while multiple units can be linked for stronger fills. It suits creators who value portability and quick adjustments over complex menu systems.

## How to use it

Turn the light on with the power button and hold to enter maximum output mode, then rotate the control wheel to set colour temperature or brightness as required. Charge via the supplied USB‑C cable between sessions. It’s a practical, no‑frills solution for creators who need a consistent, adjustable light source.
