## Description

## Key features

A robust bottom baseplate designed for the Sony Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR, this small rig plate enhances grip and enables quick transitions between tripod, gimbal and handheld shooting. It also adds a dedicated AirTag slot, helping you keep track of your camera in busy setups. The hinge arm sits next to the battery compartment, allowing easy battery changes without obstructing the door. Built-in quick-release functionality supports Arca systems, making it straightforward to switch between rigs on the fly.

With multiple attachment points, you gain flexible mounting options for straps and accessories. The plate includes a dedicated QD socket for shoulder straps and a strap hole for wrist straps, along with additional 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for expanded configurations. A magnetic flat wrench is included for fast setup and teardown, reducing the time you spend on adjustments. This is a practical upgrade for everyday use, offering durability and dependable compatibility in a compact form.

You’ll appreciate how the AirTag slot adds an extra layer of security for your kit during location shoots or on busy sets. The design keeps the battery area accessible, minimising interruptions to your shooting flow. The result is a more comfortable grip, smoother transitions between shooting styles, and a modular baseplate that scales with your gear. 🛠️🔒📦

Overall, the A7C II/A 7CR baseplate is a straightforward, value-focused upgrade that enhances handling, security and versatility for Sony shooters working across tripods, stabilisers and handheld setups. It’s a sensible choice for creators prioritising reliability and practical features over flash.
