## Description

This high-yield drum unit pair replaces worn components in compatible Brother printers to restore print quality and keep office workflows moving. Designed for monochrome laser models, these two drum units deliver long life and predictable page yields, making them suitable for home offices and small businesses that print regularly. The drum unit is compatible with Brother printers and works alongside TN2420 toner cartridges for reliable output.

## Key Points

The pack includes two DR2400 drum units, each rated to yield around **12,000 pages** at A4 with 5% coverage according to the manufacturer. This drum-only supply does not include toner, so it must be combined with a TN2420 toner cartridge for the printer to produce text and images. 🖨️

These units are replacement parts rather than original manufacturer drums. They are intended to reset the imaging cycle and deliver consistent density across multiple print jobs. Consider that you will need to reset the printer’s drum counter before first use, as noted by the manufacturer. ⚙️

## Benefits

Replacing the imaging drum with a fresh unit can noticeably improve print uniformity and reduce streaking or light areas that appear as the original drum wears out. This option can be more economical than replacing the entire printer for users who still have functional machines. The two-pack format cuts down on downtime because a spare drum is already available when the first reaches its end of life.

Because the drums are high yield, they are helpful for workflows that require steady monthly page volumes. On the other hand, bear in mind that these are drum units only. You will still need compatible toner cartridges to create prints, and the colour will depend on the toner used.

## Usage Recommendations

Install each DR2400 following the printer’s maintenance instructions and remember to reset the drum counter before printing to ensure accurate life reporting. When replacing, avoid touching the imaging surface to prevent fingerprints. Store spare drums in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields to preserve performance.
