## Description

This pair of silk pillowcases gives a cool, smooth surface that helps reduce friction on hair and skin while sleeping, so curls are less likely to tangle and facial lines face less rubbing. The set is presented in standard size with a slightly larger overall cover to fit pillows comfortably, making them a practical swap for cotton cases in warmer bedrooms.

## Key Points

Made from mulberry silk with a soft, elastic touch, these pillow covers aim to stay smooth and resist creasing. They are described as having a shiny finish that minimises friction against delicate hairstyles and facial skin, which can help maintain styling and reduce overnight moisture loss 😴. Colours are simple and easy to match with existing bedding, offering a discreet upgrade to sleep textiles.

The fabric is noted for a cool feel, which can help the body remain comfortable in warm nights. The pillowcases do not claim to absorb styling products after one night, according to the manufacturer, so hair finishes should remain more intact. Durability is highlighted, with the material said to withstand repeated use without tearing or staining easily.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Silk Pillowcase 2 Pack**
- Material: 100% natural mulberry silk
- Standard size: 50 x 75 cm
- Overall size: 56 x 80 cm
- Pack contents: 2 pillowcases
- Care: Machine or hand washable in a laundry bag on a neutral cycle, dry in shade

## Usage Recommendations

Wash the pillowcases inside a net-like laundry bag on a gentle setting and avoid twisting them dry to preserve the silk fibres. Allow them to retain a small amount of moisture when removing from the wash and finish drying flat or hanging in the shade to prevent direct sunlight from causing fading. For those who prefer a cool sleeping surface on warm evenings, place the silk cases directly on the pillow before bed; they are comfortable to use year round 🌙.

Consider that silk can require gentler handling than heavier fabrics, so while the covers are presented as machine washable, delicate treatment will prolong their appearance and feel. The smooth surface works well with styled or treated hair, though results with very heavy product builds may vary.
