Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket 135x72cm

This electric underblanket from Silentnight brings targeted warmth to a single bed, offering fast heat-up and four adjustable settings to ease aches and provide a cosy sleep environment. Designed for use on a single mattress, the Soft microfleece surface and secure straps keep the 135 x 72 cm blanket flat and comfortable all night.

Key Points

The underblanket heats efficiently and, according to the manufacturer, can cost as little as 1p per hour to run at low settings. It includes a new digital controller for straightforward selection of four heat levels and reaches the chosen temperature quickly, allowing rapid warmth when needed. Built-in safety features include pinsonic channels that keep the heating wires in place and an auto shut-off function, which helps reduce the risk of overheating when the product is left on for extended periods. The elasticated straps make attachment to a mattress quick, and the blanket is suitable for machine washing once the cable has been detached.

As with most electric blankets, it is advised to switch the unit off before sleeping and to avoid continuous use at the highest setting, according to the manufacturer. Consider that it is an underblanket rather than an over-blanket, so pairing it with breathable bed linens will help maintain comfort.

Positive Aspects

The soft microfleece finish delivers a pleasant tactile feel that complements the warmth. The fast heat-up and clear controller allow simple operation, which is useful on chilly evenings or to relieve minor joint and muscle discomfort. Practical features like the easy-fit straps and machine-washable fabric support regular use without complex maintenance.
