## Description

This Shark cordless stick vacuum combines a lightweight design with deep-cleaning features for whole-home use, offering anti-hair wrap and up to 50 minutes of runtime for extended sessions on carpets and hard floors. It is a versatile cleaner that converts to a handheld unit for sofas and stairs, making quick touch-ups and full cleans easier.

## Key Points

FloorDetect technology automatically senses carpets and hard floors and adjusts brush-roll speed to maintain cleaning contact across different surfaces. The Anti Hair Wrap system clears hair from the brush-roll as you vacuum, which reduces maintenance during pet hair removal. The XL dust cup capacity lets you clean longer between emptying, and the product includes a crevice tool, upholstery tool and accessory bag for targeted tasks. Note that the quoted runtime of up to 50 minutes applies in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool, according to the manufacturer.

## Benefits

This model focuses on practical results rather than complex controls, so getting to grips with everyday cleaning is straightforward. The anti-allergen complete seal is designed to trap dust and allergens inside the bin and filter system, which can help reduce airborne particles while vacuuming. Switching between upright stick and handheld modes is quick, allowing you to tackle floors, furniture and reach high places without carrying a second appliance. The FloorDetect feature helps maintain consistent performance across mixed-surface homes, as it adjusts brush-roll behaviour automatically.

## Usage Recommendations

For longer cleaning sessions use ECO mode with non-motorised tools to approach the maximum stated runtime. Use the crevice and upholstery tools for tight gaps and fabric surfaces to prevent the main brush-roll from collecting fibres unnecessarily. Consider emptying the XL dust cup before particularly heavy cleaning jobs to preserve suction. Be aware that heavier handling when fully assembled can feel weighty for extended overhead work, so switch to handheld mode for ceiling-cleaning and stairs to reduce arm strain.
