Rolipo Clothes Steamer 400ml portable steamer

This handheld garment steamer from Rolipo combines portability with a robust steam output to tackle creases at home, in the office and while travelling. With a continuous steam function and two intensity settings, it aims to make daily fabric care quicker and more convenient for a range of materials.

Key Points

The Rolipo steamer delivers a steam flow of 30 g/min, which helps relax fibres and remove wrinkles without an iron. It includes a lockable continuous-steam button so you can steam for longer without holding the trigger, and two steam modes to adapt to thick and thin fabrics. The 400 ml water tank reduces the need for frequent refills during typical steaming sessions. A 2.1 m power cord gives extra reach, making it easier to work with garments hanging on a rail or larger items such as curtains. The compact design keeps the unit simple to store and carry when space is limited.

Benefits

Using steam avoids direct contact with a hot soleplate, which can be gentler on delicate fabrics such as silk and nylon. The higher steam mode is available for thicker textiles like denim and wool, permitting greater versatility across a wardrobe. The generous tank capacity allows for sustained steaming sessions, so you can refresh several garments without interruption. Portability and a compact footprint make it suitable for packing in a suitcase or keeping in a small cupboard for quick touch-ups.

Usage Recommendations

For best results, hang garments vertically and smooth them by hand as you work to allow the steam to penetrate evenly. Start with the lower steam mode on fine fabrics to prevent over-wetting and switch to the stronger mode for heavier materials that need more forceful steam. Use the continuous steam lock for longer items to maintain a steady flow without fatigue. Consider emptying the tank after use if the unit will be stored for an extended period, particularly when travelling, to avoid residual water remaining inside.

A practical detail to note is that the manufacturer’s description does not specify weight or exact power consumption, so those seeking a fully specified electrical profile may wish to consult the retailer or product manual for additional technical confirmation. 😊
