## Description

This membrane gaming keyboard brings vivid rainbow lighting and a tactile, mechanical-like feel to desktop and laptop setups, making evening sessions more engaging. As an RGB backlit gaming keyboard it lets you adjust modes and brightness to match your playstyle while offering stable typing for both gaming and office tasks.

## Key Points

The keyboard features adjustable LED rainbow backlighting that can be customised or switched off depending on the environment, so low-light gaming becomes less of a strain and more atmospheric. 🎮 The membrane keys are engineered to replicate a mechanical sensation, which aims to reduce key sticking and deliver smoother keystrokes when playing or typing. Consider that, according to the manufacturer, the keycaps are rated for longevity and the product supports plug and play across multiple systems. A practical phone holder is integrated into the design for quick reference to messages or guides during sessions. The base includes three drainage holes and removable keycaps to help manage accidental spills and simplify cleaning, which may be useful in a busy setup. 💡

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Rii RK202**
- Layout: UK layout
- Key type: membrane with mechanical-feel
- Backlight: rainbow LED, adjustable brightness and modes
- Durability: rated for **50 million presses**
- Compatibility: Windows, PC, Mac, Xbox One, PS4, PS5

## Usage Recommendations

Place the keyboard on a flat surface and use the extended wrist rest and foldable feet to achieve a comfortable 8° typing angle, which helps reduce wrist fatigue during prolonged play. For cleaning, remove the keycaps for a deeper clean and allow any spilled liquid to drain through the bottom holes before using again. 🧼 The lighting settings are accessible without extra drivers, which is convenient for quick adjustments between work and gaming.

## Positive Aspects

This model stands out for combining a spill-resistant design with user-friendly extras such as the phone stand and adjustable tilt. The illuminated keys enhance visibility in dim rooms and the tactile membrane layout offers a compromise between quiet operation and a satisfying keystroke. Note that while it mimics a mechanical response, it is not a true mechanical switch keyboard, and users seeking true mechanical switches may prefer a different option.
