## Description

## What it is and what it solves
The RICHIE Cube Garden Furniture Waterproof cover is a heavy-duty square protective shell designed for garden cube sets. Sized at 155L x 155D x 71H cm, it targets medium 4–6 seat cube arrangements, offering protection against rain, sun and general outdoor exposure. On the surface, it looks like a practical answer to weathering in the UK climate, where long-lasting furniture protection is often more about durability than flashiness.

## How it’s built and what that means in practice
This cover uses a 420D Oxford fabric with a waterproof PU coating and UV-stabilised finish. The intended effect is twofold: keep moisture out and reduce sun-related fading. A high-density backing adds a level of water resistance, which can help prevent damp in the fabric‑to‑furniture interface. Practically, you’re looking at a cover that’s meant to stay put through breezy days thanks to a drawstring at the bottom, offering a more secure fit than a loose sheet.

## Pros and what might give you pause
What stands out here is the emphasis on durability and weather resistance in a single cover. If you prioritise a robust, all‑round protective layer for a mid-sized cube set, this could be sensible for year‑round use. The drawcord hook-up is a simple touch that can save you from wrestling with flaps in windy weather. That said, the fit depends on the exact depth of your chairs, if your cube set is unusually deep, the cover may not sit as snugly as hoped.

## Who it’s for
This product suits homeowners with a square, medium‑sized outdoor dining arrangement who want a single, purpose‑built cover rather than a collection of assorted tarps. If you value a straightforward “fits most 4–6 seater cube sets” solution and prefer a practical, not flashy, look, it aligns with that approach.

## Who it isn’t for
If your furniture uses an irregular footprint, or if your shading or protection needs are extreme (heavy snowfall, prolonged sub-zero wet conditions), you may want to compare alternatives with more tailored dimensions or additional insulation features. It’s also not a lightweight sack, the heavy‑duty fabric means it isn’t a throwaway option for casual use.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider this cover if you want reliable protection that’s easier to manage than a collection of loose covers, and you own a square 155 x 155 cm cube configuration. It’s reasonable if you’re after a practical, weather‑resistant solution that can handle typical UK outdoor conditions with daily wear.

## When to hold off
If you’re looking for a minimalist, budget‑tier option or your furniture is significantly larger or deeper than the stated dimensions, this cover might not be the perfect fit. Also, if you require a model with a fully custom dimension guarantee, you may need to explore bespoke options.

## What to check before you buy
- Double‑check your furniture’s depth to ensure the chairs sit comfortably within the 155 cm width and depth.
- Consider where the cover will sit during autumn winds, ensure the drawstring can be tightened securely for windy days.
- Think about storage when not in use: a square, fit‑for‑purpose cover typically folds down reasonably but will still take space.

## How it compares in use
This cover represents a practical middle ground: more protective than light fabric sleeves, but not a specialised, premium‑grade shell. If you prioritise value for money and straightforward maintenance, it sits in the mid‑range for garden furniture protection. If you expect extremes or require a tailor‑made fit, you may prefer alternatives that offer more exact dimensions or reinforced corner protection.

## What you’ll notice day to day
In use, you’ll likely appreciate the protection from sun fade and moisture, plus the ease of cleaning—hose down and air out. It’s not designed to be indestructible, so you’ll want to treat it with a sensible level of care: remove debris regularly and recheck the drawcord after strong winds.

## Technical snapshot (brief)
- Size: 155L x 155D x 71H cm
- Fabric: 420D Oxford with waterproof PU coating
- UV protection: UV‑stabilised coating
- Backing: high‑density water resistant

## Is it worth it?
A solid pick if you prioritise durable, all‑round protection for a medium cube set and want a straightforward, no‑nonsense cover. It might not suit if you need a perfect, custom fit for unusually deep chairs or require additional features beyond weatherproofing.

## FAQ
- Will this fit my 4–6 seater cube set? It’s designed for a 155 x 155 cm footprint, measure your furniture to be sure.
- Is it easy to clean? Yes, a hose-down and air dry are typical and advised.
- Does it protect against heavy snow? It offers waterproof and UV protection, but you should consider seasonal storage if heavy snow is common in your area.
