## Description

## What this is and what it helps with
The Redragon M810 Pro is a wireless gaming mouse designed to blend precision with customisation. Built around a PAW3325 optical sensor and a 1000 Hz polling rate, it aims to deliver responsive tracking for competitive play while offering a wireless experience via a 2.4 GHz nano receiver. If cables have ever felt like a bottleneck in your setup, this model promises the freedom to move without sacrificing accuracy.

## How it performs on paper
On the DPI front, you’ll find 5 onboard levels (500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 10000), with additional DPI tweaks available through software. The result is a wide swing from casual to high‑precision aiming. The 10000 DPI figure is common in gaming mice, but your practical accuracy will depend on grip, distance to the sensor, and in‑game sensitivity. In the background, the PAW3325 sensor is paired with a high polling rate to reduce input latency, which matters most in fastpaced titles.

## Buttons and macro capability
All 8 buttons are programmable, including a rapid fire button and two side macro keys. If you optimise keybinds across shooters, MOBAs or productivity tasks, you can tailor actions to reduce finger movement. The ability to remap on‑the‑fly or through software can be valuable, but it also means you’ll spend time upfront configuring profiles for different games or workflows.

## Battery life and charging
The M810 Pro ships with a rechargeable battery that can run up to 45 hours in eco‑mode. Realistically, your mileage will depend on lighting effects, polling rate, and how aggressively you use macros or rapid fire. In practice, that level of endurance is handy for long sessions, though continuous RGB lighting will draw more power and shorten run time.

## Visuals and software
RGB backlighting adds visual flair unless you prefer a more understated look. With the Redragon Pro driver, you can vary lighting styles and effects, which is useful if you want the mouse to match a specific aesthetic or room lighting. The software layer isn’t universal across platforms, so check compatibility with your PC or Mac before committing.

## Practical pros and cons
Pros: wireless freedom without obvious performance compromise, adjustable DPI with on‑board memory, solid macro support, and a reasonably long battery life for daily gaming.
Cons: true battery life depends on use of lighting and features, some users may need time to tune macros for peak efficiency, software availability and quirks can vary by platform.

## Who it suits
This mouse is a sensible option if you value a wireless form factor, a sizeable feature set for custom macros, and a mid‑to‑high end sensor in a price bracket that isn’t purely premium. It’s well matched for gamers who play in short sessions at a desk or who want a versatile input device for both gaming and content creation tasks.

## Who should think twice
If you prioritise plug‑and‑play simplicity, or you prefer a lighter, more compact profile, this model could feel bulky or over‑engineered. If you expect flawless software parity across Windows and macOS, verify driver support first, since feature access can vary.

## What to check before you buy
- Confirm the software compatibility with your operating system and whether all 8 buttons can be mapped as needed.
- Consider how often you’ll rely on RGB lighting, higher brightness will reduce battery life.
- If you primarily game wired or want the lightest possible model, compare weight and responsibility to other options in your shortlist.

## How it stacks up in use
For those weighing alternatives, the choice often comes down to wireless reliability vs. battery life and the depth of macro support. The M810 Pro sits in the middle ground: it offers substantial customisation without leaning into a pure ultralight or ultra‑premium feel. If you’re after a versatile daily driver with plenty of programmable options for both games and work, it’s a reasonable candidate.

## Decision point
### Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you prioritise wireless freedom, a broad DPI range, and extensive macro capability for both gaming and productivity. It may not be the best option if you want absolute plug‑and‑play simplicity or the lightest possible mouse.
