The rabbitgoo Step-in Soft Mesh Puppy Harness is designed around that “small fit” reality: it uses a step-in style so you can get it on quickly without a wrestling match, while the soft air-mesh fabric aims to keep things breathable and gentle. It’s also built with practical safety touches in mind. There are reflective strips for visibility, and the lead attaches to a reinforced metal D-ring. On paper, it’s the kind of everyday vest harness that’s meant to make walks, training sessions, and even vet trips less of a faff. That said, this is clearly positioned for very small dogs only. If your dog sits outside the stated neck/chest range, it may not be the right call. ## Key points The step-in design is the headline: you place your puppy’s paws in, then fasten the hook-and-loop closure and snap the buckle. That matters if your pup wriggles or you’re trying to get out the door quickly. The fabric choice is another reason people would pick this. The air-mesh material is described as soft, breathable and quick-drying, which is useful if your dog gets warm on summer walks or if you want something that dries without drama. And for visibility, the reflective trim helps in low-light conditions, day or night. It’s not a replacement for common sense and safe routing, but it’s a sensible addition. ## What you’ll notice day to day In use, the biggest benefit is how quickly it can be put on. With a step-in harness, you’re not trying to feed the whole thing over the dog’s head—so it tends to suit busy owners and wriggly pups better than head-over styles. The harness is also described as gentle on delicate skin and designed to be cosy in cooler weather as well as cooling in summer. That “all-year” idea is handy if you don’t want separate kit for different seasons. There’s also a comfort-and-control trade-off you’ll want to consider: because it’s light and uses fabric with an easy closure system, it’s geared more towards everyday walking and training than heavy-duty pulling situations. If your dog tends to lunge hard and consistently, you may want to reassess whether a more robust setup is better for your routine. ## Fit and sizing you should double-check This model is specifically marked for XXS / small dogs. - Neck: 20.6–25.9 cm - Chest: 31.5–36.1 cm It’s worth measuring carefully before ordering. If your dog falls between sizes, the guidance is to choose the larger one. One limitation to flag: the product information states it’s not suitable for medium or large dogs. So if you’re buying for a growing puppy, you may need to keep an eye on fit sooner rather than later. ## Secure & escape-resistant design A harness only earns its keep if it stays put. Here, the closure combines hook-and-loop fastening with a durable safety buckle, aiming to prevent slipping out. For lead attachment, there’s a reinforced metal D-ring. If you’ve used softer rings or less secure attachment points before, that kind of reinforcement usually feels more reassuring. ## When it makes sense (and when it doesn’t) This rabbitgoo harness makes sense if you’re looking for a lightweight, breathable step-in option for a tiny dog or toy breed—especially if you want an easier putting-on routine for daily walks, training, travel, or vet visits. It may not suit you if: - your dog is bigger than the stated XXS neck and chest range - your dog’s behaviour makes you need maximum restraint during strong, sustained pulling (you may want a more demanding harness setup) ## Mini FAQ ## Is it suitable for puppies? Yes. The step-in design is explicitly aimed at puppies and busy owners, and the soft mesh material is described as gentle for delicate skin. ## How does the harness stay on? It uses a hook-and-loop fastener plus a safety buckle, designed to help stop slipping out. ## Does it help with visibility at night? The reflective strips are intended to enhance visibility for safer walks day or night. ## How do I choose the right size? Measure your dog’s neck and chest and compare to the provided XXS range. If you’re between sizes, choose the larger one. ## Is it breathable? The harness is made from soft air-mesh fabric, described as breathable and quick-drying. ## Final verdict It’s worth considering if you’ve got a tiny dog and you want a breathable, soft step-in harness that’s easier to fit quickly—without compromising on basic safety touches like the safety buckle, reinforced D-ring and reflective trim. But don’t buy it on size hope. If your dog isn’t within the XXS neck and chest measurements, it’s simply not the right match, and it may feel uncomfortable or fail to sit correctly. ## Images ![rabbitgoo Step-in Soft Mesh Puppy Dog Harness \(XXS, Orange\) with Reflective Strips — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/4GkTNbFjdkHJfagYCkDpwbaDQpSIBa-TFeQ8e7kU00FTs6c_koqlUY3Ay4L6hge_Y_UO9w4J6LZxVUvA5-TrWpCtkIE2LBUd_uBNgSRjq5AWoO4rwhe9vjV2Og.jpg) ![rabbitgoo Step-in Soft Mesh Puppy Dog Harness \(XXS, Orange\) with Reflective Strips — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/0dCJp0s4dGWZ-IPOVOlb2Gp3BD0gKgUoZJXq3jla-1qbstI0Hm4N5Eoa3Tn-adkx0GPc9pieR-oyYq-oFftcvR6EQnALL-gV-Jd0cF9f0NldayQlBoCffMu_VA.jpg) ![rabbitgoo Step-in Soft Mesh Puppy Dog Harness \(XXS, Orange\) with Reflective Strips — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/aVQJ__dE8uWRbm6zXD3qBY5x7n395T8J7zLAMmJb1PsFUrTFEG4QYNE2PVEAPk5XTNxjtHyUU0Bc-SU88gVTVmbdpS22eaVkPGCnipFzDPSrbvRxT5HMidLN5Q.jpg) ![rabbitgoo Step-in Soft Mesh Puppy Dog Harness \(XXS, Orange\) with Reflective Strips — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/qvMIqVA4b8OzEiKI2SRG1vYza9dIlnhg2Y2IpEgWQp5eemR0l6ql7dRya3b1pwCfe5x1fShlimALeqE-8TgSsRmWbJpdUrUXnaE2d9Lf-XAPe7DjDUGPuM3cKw.jpg) ![rabbitgoo Step-in Soft Mesh Puppy Dog Harness \(XXS, Orange\) with Reflective Strips — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/wCy2KSsvyOcSeXOkHOLzcLEGDM833QCewqU9devcBO1bV8pYTtOAijekAi7TGGifYdTqafzZwgJM3DSdOh6q6tQfMVWU73lNtRqrUykmq9YasAVZpvddBUTJzw.jpg)
