## Description

## What it is and what it solves
This is a large, reflective window film that adheres to glass without glue, designed to boost daytime privacy while reducing heat and glare. It’s a practical solution for rooms with sunny windows where you want to maintain natural daylight without allowing prying eyes to look in. The film’s reflective front appears like a mirror from daylight, helping you see out while keeping others from peering in.

## How it works and why it’s useful
On the technical side, the film reflects a high percentage of infrared rays, which helps minimise heat transfer through glass. In practice, that can contribute to lower cooling needs in summer and help retain warmth in winter, potentially trimming energy costs over time. It also blocks a significant portion of UV rays, which protects furnishings and reduces glare, making screens and paperwork more comfortable during daytime use.

## What’s good about it
- No glue installation: a static cling method means fewer messy chemicals and easier removal, handy for renters or those who move home.
- UV protection and glare reduction: helps protect furnishings and makes daylight more comfortable without sacrificing too much natural light.
- Clear daytime privacy with natural light: from inside, you can still enjoy the view, from outside, the interior remains shielded by the mirror-like appearance in bright conditions.
- Broad applicability: designed for flat, clean glass surfaces in homes and small offices, including living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and workspaces.

## What may not be perfect
- Privacy can reverse at night: once exterior lighting changes, the effect can flip, meaning curtains or alternative measures may be needed after dark.
- Visible light transmission is reduced (approx. 14% VLT): while glare is controlled, you’ll notice less natural light than with untreated glass.
- Not a cure-all for heat load: while it helps reflect sunlight, it won’t replace dedicated shading in rooms with very strong sun exposure.

## Who it’s for
- Renters or owners seeking a removable window treatment that doesn’t leave adhesive residue.
- People wanting a balance between daylight and daytime privacy in living spaces, kitchens, or home offices.
- Environments where UV protection for furniture and fabrics is a priority.

## Who it isn’t ideal for
- Spaces that require constant night-time privacy without drawing attention to the interior.
- Rooms that rely on full natural light and higher VLT may feel darker than expected.
- Windows with intricate shapes or non-flat surfaces, where straight film application is challenging.

## When it makes sense to buy
- You want a straightforward, rental-friendly privacy solution that can be installed quickly and removed with minimal fuss.
- You’re seeking a heat-reflective option to help moderate indoor temperatures during sunny seasons.
- You value UV protection for furnishings and want to reduce glare on screens and work surfaces.

## What to check before purchasing
- Ensure your glass is flat and clean for best adhesion and a smoother finish.
- Consider your lighting conditions: the day-time privacy effect relies on bright exterior light, test how the mirror look translates to your room at different times of day.
- Think about your night-time needs: if you require ongoing privacy after dark, plan for curtains or blinds in addition to the film.

## Practical use example
Imagine a sunny home office facing a neighbour’s window. The rabbitgoo film sits on the interior pane, reflecting sunlight and cutting glare so you can work comfortably, while you still enjoy daylight and a view when you look out during the day. At dusk, you notice the mirrored look fades and your interior becomes more visible, that’s a cue to draw the curtains if privacy is a priority.

## FAQ (short and practical)
- How do I install it without glue? It uses static cling, simply apply with water and smooth out bubbles.
- Will it fog up or leave residue when removed? It should come away clean without residue.
- Is it suitable for all-glass doors? As long as the surface is flat and clean, it should adhere, but curved or highly textured surfaces may be trickier.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you prioritise daytime privacy, UV protection, and a reversible, adhesive-free solution for glass surfaces. If night-time privacy is essential or you need maximum natural light, this may be a limitation to bear in mind.
