## Description

## Key features

The QZQ T5 UVB reptile light is a 24W combo kit that provides 10.0 UVB output suitable for desert reptiles. It blends a high UVB and UVA ratio with a curved alloy reflector to simulate natural sunlight, helping reptiles absorb calcium and synthesise vitamin D3 for steady growth. The kit includes a detachable 5.9 ft power cord, an on off switch and mounting accessories so you can fit it to a mesh cover or inside a wooden vivarium.

## Tech specs

- Name: QZQ T5 UVB Reptile Light Fixture Combo Kit
- Type: T5 fluorescent fixture
- Power: 24W
- Format: Tube
- Size: 10.0 UVB
- Material: Alloy reflector and flame retardant plastic covers

## Why it makes sense

This fixture is engineered for steady UVB and UVA output, approximately 10% UVB and 30% UVA according to the manufacturer. That balance encourages natural behaviours such as basking and feeding, and helps reduce the risk of metabolic bone disease in species that need substantial UV exposure. The flame retardant end caps and energy efficient design keep running costs modest while improving enclosure lighting quality.

## How to use it

Install on a mesh lid or mount inside a tank and adjust distance to achieve the right UVB intensity for your animal. It is portable and straightforward to reposition as your pet grows or as you change the layout. It’s a good fit if you keep desert species such as bearded dragons, tortoises or leopard geckos, but bear in mind that specific distance and daily timing should follow species care guidance and the bulb manufacturer’s recommendations.

## What’s included

The kit arrives with the T5 fixture, a detachable 5.9 ft power cord, multiple mounting accessories and a built in on off switch, making it ready to install in most terrariums and vivariums.
