## Description

## What this product is
The QUALKNOY set comprises two square velvet cushion covers, each measuring 45cm x 45cm (18" x 18"). They are designed to be used with inserts you already own, with no filler included. The covers come with a double-sided pattern, so you can enjoy the same decorative effect from either side, making styling simpler when you’re changing colours or themes.

## Material and construction
These cushion covers are crafted from 100% grade A velvet, which aims to be durable and pleasant to the touch. The design features tight stitching and a discreet hidden zipper, contributing to a modern finish that sits well with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The velvet finish gives a soft, luxe feel, suitable for sofas, beds, patios or outdoor spaces used as part of a courtyard or garden décor.

## What it helps solve
If you’re updating a living room or a cosy corner, these covers offer a quick way to refresh the room without buying new inserts. The two-sided pattern means you don’t have to hunt for a particular orientation when you want a quick style swap. They also help protect your existing cushions from scratches and finger marks, extending their lifespan.

## Pros and what stands out
- Double-sided pattern for flexible styling on a single product.
- Velvet fabric adds a touch of warmth and texture to a variety of décors.
- Hidden zipper offers a clean, streamlined look and easy cover removal for washing.
- The set of 2 provides consistency across cushions and makes matching easier.

## Considerations and limitations
- The description specifies cushions covers without inserts, you’ll need to supply your own padding.
- Velvet fabrics can be prone to colour fading if exposed to prolonged direct sunlight, performance will depend on your room’s light exposure.
- Care is machine washable in cold water, but avoid tumble drying and bleaching to preserve the fabric and pattern.
- There is no information on wash temperature beyond “cold water”, for those with sensitive care routines, a gentler approach may be preferred.

## Who it’s for
This set suits households looking for an affordable, stylish way to refresh living rooms, bedrooms or outdoor seating areas. It’s practical for those who value a consistent look across cushions and want a simple, durable fabric that resists wear from everyday use.

## Who might want to rethink
If you need cushions with heavy outdoor protection or fast-drying performance for frequent outdoor use, these velvet covers may not be the best fit. Likewise, if you require a precise pattern or a more pronounced decorative statement, you might prefer a product with a bolder print or different fabric.

## When it makes sense to buy
- You want a quick visual update for living spaces with a modern yet timeless feel.
- You already own 45x45cm inserts and want a matched two-pack to cover them.
- You value a neat, understated look with a hidden zipper and two-sided design for flexibility.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm you have suitable inserts (45x45 cm / 18" x 18").
- Consider sun exposure where cushions will live to gauge potential colour fade.
- Ensure you’re comfortable with machine washing in cold water and avoiding tumble drying.

## Quick usage example
Imagine pairing these with a neutral sofa and a couple of contrasting throw blankets, the two-sided pattern makes it easy to flip to a darker side when the room shifts towards a night-time mood or a more dramatic contrast.

## FAQ
- Do the covers come with fillings? No, the set is two cushion covers only.
- Are they suitable for outdoor use? They can be used outdoors, but prolonged sun exposure may affect colour, consider sheltered or shaded spots.
- How should I wash them? Machine wash in cold water, do not bleach or tumble dry.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you’re after a cost-effective way to refresh a room with a coordinated two-pack that combines easy styling with a soft, premium feel.
