## Description

The Preciva Speed Square Metric set pairs two aluminium triangle rulers to help with accurate layout and drilling on site. The kit includes a 7 inch and a 12 inch square, both laser engraved with metric scales and designed for routine carpentry and DIY tasks. It feels sturdy in the hand and is aimed at joiners, builders and hobby woodworkers who value straightforward, reliable tools.

## Key points

Both squares are made from aluminium alloy with laser-engraved metric markings that the manufacturer rates at an accuracy of ±0.2 mm. The markings are clear and resistant to wear, which keeps measurements readable over time. The T-shaped base on each ruler gives extra stability when scribing lines or positioning for cuts and screws. Do note that while the alloy resists corrosion, heavy knocks may dent the edges and affect precision. **Preciva 7inch+12inch** is shown in one of the product images and is mentioned in the original pack description.

## Technical details

- Name: Speed Square Metric
- Material: Aluminium alloy
- Size: 7in and 12in
- Format: Triangle ruler
- Accuracy: ±0.2 mm

## Why it’s worth it

The combination of two sizes makes the set versatile for both tight corners and larger timber. The widened T-base limits slippage against edges, so marking and cutting lines is steadier than with a flat ruler. The array of 14 drill holes adds simple drilling guides without resorting to separate jigs.

## How to use it

Use the T-base pressed flush to a board edge to mark 90° lines or to transfer measurements across a length. The drilled guides help position pilot holes for screws, while the laser-etched metric scale speeds repeated measurements. It’s a practical companion on a bench or in a trade van, though you should store it carefully to preserve the engraving and flatness.

## What’s included

The pack contains one 7 inch triangle ruler and one 12 inch triangle ruler as stated in the product listing. The set covers a range of common carpentry tasks and sits neatly alongside other basic measuring tools.
