The idea is straightforward: your cat taps or bats it, the built-in sensor responds, and the toy flaps and moves in a way that’s meant to feel more like a little bird than just a static toy. It’s also rechargeable via USB, which is one of those practical details that tends to matter more than people expect once you’ve bought a few battery-powered toys. ## What you’ll notice in play On paper, the most engaging part is the combination of motion and sound. Once play starts, it’s described as emitting realistic chirping sounds to draw your cat in. That can help turn a brief poke into longer bouts of chasing, pouncing, biting and batting. There’s also the “flapping bird” element: it’s designed to flap and flutter as your cat interacts with it, aiming to keep attention without you having to manually move it every time. A small example of how it might go in real life: you sit down, place it on the floor, and when your cat first touches it with a paw, it activates and starts its flapping behaviour plus chirps. Many cats will immediately test it again—hook, bite, retreat, repeat—because the movement is reactive. ## Key points Touch activation and automatic response make this toy feel more like it’s “reacting” to your cat than pushing a button and waiting. The rechargeable USB setup is a genuine convenience for day-to-day ownership, particularly if you prefer not to keep replacing batteries. It’s designed to support activity and reduce boredom, which is especially relevant if your cat spends time alone while you’re out. ## Materials, catnip, and comfort The toy is made with a soft, durable plush (described as felpa), so it’s the sort of thing a cat can wrestle with, bat, scratch and then eventually snuggle up to. That matters because some interactive toys end up being played with for a minute and then ignored, plush can make it more “usable” beyond the motion. A catnip pouch is included in the package. The description suggests most cats respond to the scent, which can encourage calmer play and keep them interested. Still, catnip reactions vary a lot—if your cat isn’t into catnip, you may not see as much of a boost. ## Tech summary This is a 10 cm interactive cat toy that’s rechargeable by USB. The charging cable is included, and the charging mechanism is said to be removable to make cleaning the plush more convenient. The toy is described as going inactive and staying quiet when left alone, which should help preserve battery energy. ## Is it worth it? It’s a good fit if you want a touch-activated interactive toy that combines flapping movement with realistic chirping, and you’d rather charge the toy than keep buying replacement batteries. It may not suit you if you’re expecting a “hands-free entertainment system” for long periods, the toy is described as inactive when left alone to save energy, so the most active play is likely to happen when your cat is directly interacting. Worth considering if you’re shopping in the practical middle ground—something more engaging than a basic plush, but not positioned (in the available description) as a high-end, complex smart device. You may want to skip it if your cat tends to ignore moving toys or if they dislike plush textures and prefer firmer or scratch-focused toys instead. ## Mini FAQ ## How does it activate? It’s touch activated: when your cat touches or bats the toy, the built-in sensor triggers the flapping and chirping behaviour. ## Is it rechargeable or battery-powered? It’s described as rechargeable via USB, with a cable included. ## What’s the purpose of the catnip pouch? The pack includes a catnip bag, intended to encourage interest and more relaxed play for many cats. ## Can it be cleaned? The description says the charging mechanism is removable to make cleaning the plush more convenient. ## What happens if the toy is left alone? It’s described as staying inactive and silent to help save battery energy when not in use. ## Images ![Potaroma Rechargeable Flapping Bird Sparrow Cat Toy \(Touch Activated, Lifelike Chirp\) – 10 cm — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/FxFP6YZOO4mGGXCipHLPksyLCmp9WYEEM-CgO74ulFzWW_pfoiQaWdBXQx2gseaezdoPI1evna0kYT2VPEI9KdWpxV_EH646S_2mxRqnXHELZ75nFFQ2sUkK3g.jpg) ![Potaroma Rechargeable Flapping Bird Sparrow Cat Toy \(Touch Activated, Lifelike Chirp\) – 10 cm — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/EPdSg3UbizIPoIvAiiQ69UEmLuuKNf0apnwTyOOF_ciSInkjXWsSTmoKORxIciFUVgoUbetzxiblHwvj5_NrG_-xBt8_5DumKQ1h-rqxzVScZuhvEDbkp3NSYQ.jpg) ![Potaroma Rechargeable Flapping Bird Sparrow Cat Toy \(Touch Activated, Lifelike Chirp\) – 10 cm — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/xAoZz0HY8AVXlLMLu_KodABLoDQSPC7Bu80GExBPZL_1RKG2PsasjXow58SqeGO9lr4Gmo4VpHrWSnigll80rdXUS_Mmasrf6D6LvDxmGYh6uCE4XRnQeZV9ig.jpg) ![Potaroma Rechargeable Flapping Bird Sparrow Cat Toy \(Touch Activated, Lifelike Chirp\) – 10 cm — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/SbNDghOvc5ae6d4XQrlRlOOFwTsMRynZvHK2lvWgFBoEAnpeyGAzue59LwJscIApJYBAC4wlXOgizARNg6vs27iQRlXgxNMRM1_a_esD9H__dvuyc444W5oR8Q.jpg) ![Potaroma Rechargeable Flapping Bird Sparrow Cat Toy \(Touch Activated, Lifelike Chirp\) – 10 cm — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/7Z_Cdahxz9jsIzMZ_cI6f_FvA0y2I3u48FTKsSXt-rQsTMXLjeJmWgD_UmByQ44OcvfrU3HJ0hxmxODs5ASEgA57k0nYgyukYQE6S-aUxsS_c_xemp5nQmE9tg.jpg)
