Poseca Dog Coat with Built‑in Harness

This waterproof winter coat with built-in harness keeps dogs warm and controlled on cold walks. The Poseca padded jacket combines a thick quilted interior and an outer waterproof layer to protect against wind and rain, making it a practical option for daily outdoor use in autumn and winter.

Key Points

The coat includes an integrated harness that sits beneath a rear zipper, so you can fasten a lead without disturbing the fit. Reflective trim improves night-time visibility, which adds an extra layer of safety on evening walks. Elastic adjustable straps across the belly help achieve a snug fit across a wide range of breeds. The design is described as a 2-in-1 harness and jacket that aims to reduce bulk while keeping dogs comfortable and warm. Consider that you should measure your dog’s chest circumference and back length before choosing a size, as the manufacturer recommends using the chest measurement first.

• Inner material: thick quilted cotton padding for warmth

Usage Recommendations

For best fit, measure the chest circumference and back length and select the size referring to the brand’s size chart. The rear zipper allows you to attach a lead while the coat remains in place, which is useful for quick outings or when layering with other items. For dogs that tend to overheat, monitor them during longer periods of activity since the padded lining is designed primarily for cold weather. 🐾

Positive Aspects

The combination of waterproof outer fabric and padded cotton makes the coat a versatile option for rainy and chilly conditions. The integrated harness streamlines equipment and reduces the need for a separate harness in many situations. Reflective detailing increases confidence when walking at dusk or in poor light. The elastic belly straps balance security and flexibility, helping the jacket stay put without restricting movement. 🐶

Practical Tips

Zip the coat closed and check that the harness opening aligns with your dog’s shoulders before clipping on a lead. If your dog has a particularly broad chest or an unusual body shape, measure carefully and consider the chest measurement as the deciding factor. Note that while the jacket is water resistant according to the product description, heavy prolonged rain may still soak through the outer layer, so allow drying time after wet walks. ⚠️.
