## Description

The Portwest A790 anti vibration work glove combines targeted protection and everyday comfort for tradespeople using pneumatic breakers and mechanical hammers. It reduces vibration by around 40% according to the manufacturer, helping to lessen hand fatigue during extended tasks while retaining a practical, rugged build.

## Key points

These gloves are black and offered in a range of sizes up to X‑Large, with a snug elasticated cuff that keeps debris out. The interior features a seamless breathable lining for sustained comfort, and a chloroprene rubber palm provides durable grip and abrasion resistance. Expect a work-focused design rather than bulky padding, so dexterity remains acceptable for tool handling.

## Why it’s worth it

If you use percussive tools regularly these gloves help reduce transmitted vibration without sacrificing too much feel. They meet relevant CE standards for mechanical protection and anti‑vibration performance, which supports safer working practices on site. Ten en cuenta that while vibration is reduced by about 40% they are not a substitute for administrative controls or tool maintenance when managing long term exposure.

## How to use it

Wear the gloves with correctly sized protective equipment and follow tool manufacturers guidance on vibration exposure. You’ll like them if you need a balance of grip and vibration damping while maintaining reasonable hand mobility for fastening and adjustment tasks.

## Care & maintenance

Wash according to any manufacturer instructions, avoid high heat and prolonged drying in direct sunlight to preserve the chloroprene palm and elastic components. Regular inspection for wear is recommended to ensure continued protective performance.
