## Description

This thermal insulated blackout curtain pair combines a neat contemporary look with practical room-darkening and temperature-control features, suitable for bedrooms, living rooms or kitchens. The 46 x 54 inch panels from PONY DANCE bring softened polyester fabric, eyelet hanging and improved privacy for daytime naps or evening relaxation.

## Key Points

These curtains come as two short panels, each with eight metal eyelets that make installation quick and consistent. The fabric is a soft polyester with a denser weave that, according to the manufacturer, enhances the blackout effect and helps reduce incoming light. Darker colours tend to perform better at blocking light, which is useful for shift workers or light-sensitive sleepers.

The design is intentionally simple and contemporary, so the grey tone works well against neutral walls and mixed décor schemes. Beyond shading, the lined weave provides a degree of thermal insulation that can help limit heat gain in summer and heat loss in winter, contributing to a more comfortable room temperature.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: PONY DANCE Grey Blackout Thermal Insulated Curtains**
- Material: 100% polyester.
- Weight: 230 g/m².
- Panel size: 117 cm x 137 cm (46 x 54 inch) per panel.
- Pieces per pack: 2 panels.
- Eyelets: 8 metal grommets per panel, inner diameter 4 cm.

## Usage Recommendations

Hang the curtains from a standard rod that fits 4 cm eyelets for a smooth glide. For maximum darkening, combine with a fitted pelmet or pair with blackout blinds, and choose the darker colour option when complete blackout is required. Machine wash in cold water up to 40°C on a gentle cycle or hand wash, and avoid high-temperature drying to preserve the thermal coating and fabric feel.

Consider that short panels like these suit smaller windows or spaces where a full-length drape would be impractical. The blackout and thermal properties are helpful but may not fully replace professional-grade blackout systems in rooms needing absolute light exclusion.
