## Description

This eyelet blackout curtain panel from PONY DANCE combines light control and thermal performance for bedrooms, living rooms or nurseries, helping to create darker, quieter spaces for sleep and relaxation. The single 42 x 84 inch panel uses a triple-weave blackout fabric that, according to the manufacturer, blocks around 85–95% of sunlight and UV rays while also reducing heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer.

## Key Points

The curtain fits poles up to 1.5 inches in diameter and hangs with metal eyelets for smooth opening and closing. The grey colour offers a neutral backdrop that works with many décor schemes and conveniently hides light dust. It is marketed as suitable for windows and doors, so it can be used as a single panel for narrow doorways or combined with a second panel for wider windows. Note that darker colours tend to deliver stronger blackout performance, according to the manufacturer.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name**: **PONY DANCE Grey Blackout Curtain 42 x 84 inch**
- Material: triple-weave blackout fabric, OEKO-TEX certified
- Size: 42 x 84 inches (W x L)
- Blackout performance: blocks approximately 85–95% of sunlight and UV rays
- Pole compatibility: fits curtain poles up to 1.5 inches in diameter

## Benefits

The triple-weave construction gives the panel both light-blocking and insulating qualities, which can help lower room brightness and moderate indoor temperature swings. Machine washability at temperatures below 30°C makes maintenance straightforward, and wrinkles can be reduced by washing or gentle steaming. The thermal properties may help protect furniture and flooring from sun damage while also contributing to a more comfortable room environment.

## Usage Recommendations

Hang the panel so that it overlaps the window frame for maximum blackout effect and thermal sealing. For larger windows, pair two panels to achieve full coverage and a more finished look. Consider steaming or laundering the curtain before first use to eliminate any packing creases. Keep in mind that performance varies with fabric colour and mounting; if near-total darkness is required, combining this curtain with a liner or blackout blind will increase light control.
