## Description

This pair of extra wide blackout curtains brings stronger light control and thermal balance to living rooms and bedrooms. The sage green panels are made with a triple-weave fabric that softens incoming daylight and helps reduce heat transfer, making them useful for daytime rest and increased privacy.

## Key Points

The classic pencil-pleat finish creates neat folds and hangs well on most curtain tracks or poles, while the packaged panels are ready to install with curtain rings and hooks supplied separately. According to the manufacturer, the fabric can block around 75 to 85 percent of sunlight, with darker shades typically offering greater light reduction. These curtains also claim to help lower external noise levels slightly and to protect furniture from UV fading, which can be noticeable during long sunny periods. 🌿

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **PONY DANCE Extra Wide Curtains 90x72**
- Size: W90 x L72 inch (each pair contains two panels measuring 230 cm x 183 cm according to the manufacturer)
- Colour: Sage green
- Fabric: Triple-weave blackout material
- Care: Machine washable in cold water, tumble dry safe

## Usage Recommendations

Hang the curtains using the pencil pleats and your preferred combination of rings and hooks for a traditional look. For best light blocking, allow the panels to overlap slightly at the centre and to extend beyond the window frame by a few centimetres at each side. If noise reduction is a priority, pairing the curtains with a thicker lining or a secondary thermal layer will increase insulation and further dampen sound. 🌙

## Positive Aspects

The wide panels cover larger window spans with fewer seams, which helps maintain a smoother drape and reduces the number of joins that admit light. The sage green tone offers a muted, contemporary palette that complements neutral interiors and soft furnishings. Care is straightforward as the fabric tolerates machine washing on a gentle, cold cycle, and the finish recovers well after tumble drying when cords and hooks have been removed prior to cleaning. Note that curtain rails and hanging hardware are not included, so these will need to be sourced separately according to your chosen installation method.
