## Description

This pair of PONY DANCE curtains brings practical blackout performance to a child’s room or festive space, combining thermal insulation with a cheerful red finish for holiday décor and everyday use. They are eyelet-top panels that help reduce incoming light and soften outside noise, making them suitable for bedrooms, nurseries and doors where privacy and temperature control matter.

## Key Points

Each pack contains two panels, each 46 inches wide by 60 inches long measured from the top of the eyelet. The triple-weave fabric is designed to block approximately 75-85% of sunlight and UV rays according to the manufacturer, with darker colours typically performing better. The panels have eight silver metal eyelets with a 4 cm inner diameter that fit most curtain poles up to 3.8 cm in diameter. The same fabric and colour on both sides keeps the look consistent whether the curtains hang open or closed.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name**: **PONY DANCE Blackout Thermal Curtains**
- Material: 100% polyester.
- Panel dimensions: 117 cm x 152 cm each.
- Eyelet inner diameter: 4 cm.
- Light blocking: 75-85% (manufacturer claim).
- Pole compatibility: up to 3.8 cm diameter.

## Benefits

The thermal triple-weave construction not only reduces light but also helps moderate room temperature by insulating against heat and cold. This can contribute to lower heating and cooling needs when used across windows, and it also protects soft furnishings and artwork from prolonged sun exposure. The eyelet top makes the panels easy to hang and slide, while the matching reverse avoids a two-tone appearance that sometimes shows when curtains are pulled aside. For a nursery or a child’s bedroom, the reduced light and quieter environment support naps and longer sleep periods.

## Usage Recommendations

Machine wash in cold water and tumble dry for easy care, and handle the metal eyelets gently when threading onto the pole to avoid catching the fabric. For best fullness across a curtain rod, choose a pole length so the combined width of both panels equals 1.5 to 2.6 times the width of the pole to achieve the recommended pleat and coverage. Consider pairing these panels with a sheer layer if you want daylight diffusion while maintaining privacy during daytime.

Note that while these curtains significantly reduce light and noise according to the manufacturer, they are not a complete blackout solution in all installations and some light may seep around edges or through very bright conditions. If you require total blackout, additional lining or track-mounted pelmets may improve performance.
