## Description

This active optical HDMI cable from Ploiwue combines long-distance signal transmission with a robust exterior for connecting 4K/8K sources to displays in home theatre and professional setups. It supports up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz with a 48 Gbps bandwidth, making it suitable for high-resolution HDTVs, projectors and gaming consoles where long runs are required without signal degradation.

## Key Points

The cable is an active HDMI 2.1 fibre optic design that transmits from source to display in one direction, so check the marked ends when installing. It features a metal armour jacket and a TPE outer sheath that, according to the manufacturer, increases durability and resistance to traction, compression and outdoor exposure. The plug is plated with 24-carat gold for improved contact and signal stability. ⚡

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Ploiwue 8K HDMI opticafiber cable 30m**
- Bandwidth: 48 Gbps
- Resolution support: 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz
- Connector plating: 24-carat gold
- Cable length: 30 m
- Construction: glass fibre optic core with metal armour jacket and TPE outer cover

## Benefits

The fibre optic core reduces electromagnetic interference over long distances, which helps maintain image clarity and consistent frame rates for gaming and film playback. The metal armour and protective outer layer add mechanical resilience, so installations that run through walls or outside ducts are less prone to physical damage. Additionally, support for features such as eARC, VRR and HDR standards enhances compatibility with modern AV equipment. 🎮

## Usage Recommendations

Install with the directional arrow pointing from the source device to the display because the cable is active and unidirectional. For concealed or permanent runs, allow gentle curves rather than tight bends to preserve the fibre core. Consider that active cables require compatible HDMI ports and may behave differently with adapters, so use direct HDMI-to-HDMI connections where possible. 🔧
