## Description

This wet and dry electric shaver from Philips' 3000 Series combines comfortable daily shaving with practical extras for travel and grooming. It uses SkinProtect technology and flexible heads to follow facial contours while offering both dry and shower use, making it suitable for quick morning routines or more careful wet shaves.

## Key Points

The shaver includes an ergonomic handle and a 5-direction pivoting head that adapts to the curves of the face, helping to reduce pressure on the skin and deliver a closer finish. According to the manufacturer, self-sharpening PowerCut blades are engineered to cut smoothly and maintain performance over time, which reduces the need for frequent blade replacements. A pop-up trimmer is built in for shaping sideburns and moustaches, and the package contains a travel pouch and charging stand for convenient storage and transport. 🪒

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Philips S3342/13 Electric Shaver 3000 Series**
- Blade system: PowerCut self-sharpening blades, 27 blades, up to 55,000 cuts per minute
- Shaving head: 5-direction pivoting and flexible heads
- Wet & dry: Yes, suitable for use in the shower and with shaving foam or gel
- Accessories: pop-up trimmer, protective cap, travel pouch, charging stand, USB-A charging cable

## Usage Recommendations

For the closest results, shave against the grain with light strokes and let the pivoting head follow facial contours rather than pressing hard. When using wet shave mode, apply a shaving gel or foam to improve glide and reduce irritation. The pop-up trimmer is handy for quick touch-ups on sideburns and moustache lines, and the ergonomic grip helps control the device during wet conditions. 🔋

## Advantages

The design emphasises skin comfort through SkinProtect technology and an adaptable head that should reduce nicks and tugging during routine use. Battery charging via USB-A adds flexibility when travelling, as many existing adapters will work with the supplied cable according to the manufacturer. Consider that high-performance blades still have wear over time and may need replacement after extended use, depending on grooming habits. ✈️
