## Description

This compact air fryer brings rapid hot-air cooking to everyday meals, with a 6.2 litre pan that lets you cook family portions without excess oil. If you are looking for a healthy air fryer with viewing window, this model aims to deliver crisp results with fewer calories while fitting into a small kitchen.

## Key Points

RapidAir technology promotes crisp exteriors and tender interiors by circulating hot air around food, which the manufacturer states can reduce fat by up to **90%** compared with deep frying. The unit includes a cooking window so you can check progress without opening the basket and losing heat, making it easier to judge doneness visually 🍟. Controls are via a touchscreen with nine presets that cover common dishes and functions, from frozen fries to cake.

This air fryer is presented as a versatile alternative to multiple appliances. It combines air frying, baking, grilling and roasting with 13 preset cooking programmes for reheating, defrosting and keeping food warm. Consider that larger roasts may not fit due to the 6.2 litre capacity, so it may not replace a full-size oven for big gatherings.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Philips Air Fryer 2000 Series NA230/09**
- Capacity: **6.2 L**
- Presets: **13 cooking programmes**
- Basket capacity examples: 800 g of fries, 8 chicken drumsticks, or 800 g of vegetables
- Controls: Touchscreen with 9 presets
- Special features: Cooking window, dishwasher safe parts

## Usage Recommendations

For best results, preheat briefly when the recipe advises and avoid overcrowding the pan so hot air can circulate. Use the viewing window to monitor delicate items such as pastries or thin fish fillets. When air frying frozen foods, shake or turn ingredients halfway to help achieve even browning.

Cleaning is straightforward because the pan and accessories are dishwasher safe, but allow components to cool before washing. Also, bear in mind that the touchscreen may show fingerprints easily, so a quick wipe after use keeps the control panel looking neat 🔍.
