Why it makes sense
The protector uses an adhesive technology that the manufacturer says leaves no residue on upholstery when removed, so you avoid sticky marks on fabrics. It is presented as durable and resilient against claws, so it can save you from repeat repair costs and upholstery refreshes. Bear in mind that performance depends on surface texture and how well the tape is applied.
How to use it
Cut the tape to the required shape and length, peel the backing and press firmly onto a clean, dry surface. For best results, smooth out any bubbles and press the edges to ensure adhesion. If you are training a pet, the tape can be placed in clear sight lines to discourage scratching in specific spots.
Who it fits
It’s a good fit if you want a low‑profile way to protect sofas, doors and carpet edges from claws without changing the look of the room. You’ll like it if you prefer a removable solution that the manufacturer claims does not leave glue residue. Remember that very delicate fabrics or heavily textured surfaces may need a test patch first.
Care & maintenance
Keep the surface clean before applying and replace sections that show wear. The tape can be trimmed to fit corners and edges, and removed carefully when no longer required.
