## Description

This extra-large self-cleaning litter tray from PETKIT brings hands-free hygiene and quieter maintenance to busy households. It suits multi-cat homes and owners who want app control to monitor usage and weight trends, while reducing daily scooping.

## Key takeaways
The PETKIT Pura Max 2 combines a spacious 76L interior with app connectivity to simplify litter upkeep. It offers three cleaning modes, scheduled cycles and real-time notifications via 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi, so you can keep tabs on your cat’s activity and litter box habits from anywhere. The design includes a low 7.8 inch entry for easier access and a 7L waste bin that, according to the manufacturer, can hold up to 15 days of waste for one cat.

## Technical overview
- **Name**: PETKIT PURA MAX 2
- Capacity: 76L
- Waste bin: 7L
- Entry height: 7.8 inches
- Noise level: 35 dB

## Benefits
Thanks to a fully sealed waste compartment and the N50 2.0 odour eliminator, smells are reduced before they spread. The filter is rated to last about 30 days, lowering maintenance frequency. Safety is a clear focus, with seven infrared sensors and four weight sensors that pause operation if a cat is detected, plus an anti-pinch entrance that stays open while occupied. Quiet operation keeps night-time disturbance to a minimum, which helps anxious pets and light sleepers.

## Everyday compatibility
The unit is compatible with all clumping litters including clay, tofu and bentonite, offering flexibility in your choice of litter. It is not suitable for crystal litter. The upgraded SealShield base aims to prevent leaks and mess around the tray, and the included mat has elastic edges and a water resistant finish for easier cleaning.

## What’s included
The box typically contains the litter tray with integrated seal, the waste bin, one N50 odour filter and the upgraded cat litter mat. **PETKIT PURA MAX 2** is presented as a practical, quieter solution for owners seeking automation and remote monitoring, though note it is not recommended for kittens under six months and has a suggested maximum cat weight of 18 lbs.
