## Description

This self-warming pet pad uses a multi-layer thermal fabric to reflect an animal's body heat back to them, keeping cats and small dogs cosy without any electricity. The Petace pad measuring 60 x 45 cm is suited to naps indoors or sheltered outdoor spots, and the soft surface helps provide a dry, comfortable resting place for pets that need extra warmth.

## Key Points

The pad captures and reflects body heat using an internal reflective layer, so warmth is achieved passively and there is no need for cords or batteries. The inner reflective mylar has been redesigned to reduce crinkling, making it much quieter when pets move. A non-slip base helps the mat stay put on floors and pet beds. The three outer layers are soft to the touch and treated to resist bacteria, offering a cosy surface for kittens, puppies and small dogs up to around 15 kg, according to the manufacturer. Machine washable care makes maintenance straightforward, though follow the label instructions to preserve the reflective layer.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Petace Cat Self-heating Pad 60 x 45 cm**
- Size: 60 x 45 cm.
- Layers: 4-layer construction with reflective mylar inner layer.
- Weight limit: suitable for pets up to approximately 15 kg.
- Care: machine washable, follow care label instructions.

## Positive Aspects

The quiet reflective design reduces the typical rustling associated with thermal pads, which can help nervous animals settle more easily. Because it does not rely on electricity it is useful in carriers, vehicles or outdoor runs where power is not available. The soft, antibacterial fabric surface makes the pad pleasant for longer naps and may help keep pets drier than a simple blanket. Consider that passive systems depend on ambient temperature and the animal’s own body heat, so the pad supplements warmth rather than acting as a full heater.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the pad on a flat surface such as a bed, crate floor or sheltered outdoor area away from direct damp. For cleaning, use a gentle machine wash cycle and avoid high-heat drying to protect the reflective layer. If using in a carrier or on elevated surfaces, check that the non-slip base maintains grip and reposition as needed for stability. For animals that like to burrow or scratch, monitor the pad initially to confirm the outer fabric holds up to their activity levels. 😊
