Pandabode Kraft Paper Packing Tape, 48mm x 50m, Brown, Recyclable

Its 48mm width and 50m roll length give you a practical supply of brown kraft paper tape for sealing parcels, boxes and cartons. The tape tears by hand, so you can pack without reaching for scissors, and its rubber adhesive is designed to bond to cardboard and paper for a secure seal.

The thick, biodegradable paper can stretch to help resist stress and moulds around corrugated surfaces, unusual shapes and awkward corners. You can also write directly on it with a pen or pencil, making it useful for identifying boxes, adding notes or writing addresses. It offers a paper-based alternative to plastic tape when preparing parcels and packaging for recycling.

Tech specs

• Type: Kraft paper packing tape
• Colour: Brown
• Size: 48mm x 50m
• Material: Thick, biodegradable paper
• Adhesive: Rubber adhesive, pressure-sensitive bonding to cardboard and paper
• Use: Hand-tearable, suitable for dispensers, writable with pen or pencil

How to use it

Tear off the length you need by hand and apply it to the parcel or box. The pressure-sensitive adhesive bonds to cardboard and paper, while the tape can also stick to itself when you want to secure multiple layers. It adheres to many other materials, and postage labels or stickers can be placed over the tape.

For a parcel with an uneven or corrugated surface, mould the paper tape around the shape and into awkward corners. Its flexibility also makes it useful for wrapping parcels and gifts, sealing envelopes and adding labels or notes to boxes. If you are packing several items for a move, writing on the tape helps organise boxes by contents or destination without needing a separate label for every note.

Everyday use

This roll suits day-to-day parcel packing at home, in a studio or when preparing customer orders. Use it to close shipping cartons and brown-paper parcels, or to secure wrapping paper and envelopes. Because the surface accepts pen or pencil, the same tape can help identify packed boxes, mark contents or add an address. Labels and stickers can go over it when a printed postage label is needed.

The paper format is also useful beyond dispatch: it can secure materials for crafts and picture framing, or provide a writable surface for quick notes. Compared with choosing plastic tape for a parcel, this brown paper option supports a paper-based packaging approach and can be moulded around edges and corners as you seal.
