Why it makes sense
The 105° flip-lid uses two easy-turn orange switches to open the top, so you get better access to the stainless steel inner tray for quick waste removal. The higher side surround and deeper inner panel help keep litter and urine contained, while the U-shaped groove at the base limits seepage to the outside. According to the manufacturer, the anti-tracking open edge mat reduces litter scatter, which keeps floors cleaner between full cleans. This kit includes a scoop and an activated carbon/deodoriser tray for enhanced odour management, which helps indoor air feel fresher for longer.
How to use it
Start by choosing one of the three configurations: open metal pan, semi-enclosed tray or fully enclosed box. The snap-fit assembly secures the outer shell to the stainless steel pan so you can switch set-ups without tools. For everyday upkeep, flip the lid open 105° using the switches, scoop solids and replace deodoriser blocks as needed. It’s a good idea to check the activated carbon compartment periodically and replace or refresh the litter according to household use.
Compatibility & requirements
This extra-large tray accommodates cats of most sizes including large breeds, and it works with clumping or non-clumping granulated litters. Keep in mind that while the stainless steel pan cleans easily, the outer shell should be wiped down regularly to prevent build-up. PalNests Stainless Steel Cat Litter Tray is sturdy and travel-friendly for longer stays, but you may want a smaller option if space is limited. 😺🧼
