## Description

## What it is
The OUTON Floor Lamp with Shelves combines ambient lighting with practical storage. It’s a tall, all-wood frame lamp in walnut brown, featuring three open shelves and a white linen shade. At its core is a 9 W LED bulb (810 lumens) with a choice of Warm, Cool White or Daylight colour temperatures, plus a built-in pull chain switch for easy operation. It also accommodates an E27 bulb base, allowing you to swap in a different bulb if you prefer.

## How it helps your space
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms or home offices, this lamp serves dual roles: soft illumination and display/storage. The three 26 cm × 39 cm shelves provide a ready-made spot for photos, books or small plants, while the USB 5 V/2 A and Type-C 5 V/2 A ports offer convenient charging for a phone, tablet or e-reader — all without adding extra outlets or clutter.

## What stands out on the surface
On paper, its strengths are a warm wood aesthetic that blends with modern and traditional interiors, plus built-in charging and accessible storage. The shade softens the light to reduce glare, making it pleasant for evening reading or relaxing spaces. The 160 cm height makes it a room-filling but unobtrusive feature, and the 2.9 m cord gives flexibility in placement.

## What may fall short
If you prioritise very bright, single-purpose lighting, you might find the 9 W LED bulb limits you a notch depending on room size. The included bulb is optimised for energy efficiency and mood lighting rather than high-intensity task lighting. And while the shelves are practical, they’re open and part of the lamp’s framework, so they’re not a substitute for dedicated shelving.

## Who it’s for
This is a good fit if you want a statement piece that doubles as storage and a charging hub in a living area, bedroom or home office. It’s suitable for someone who values a clean, natural wood look and dislikes cable clutter more than someone chasing ultra-bright task lighting.

## Who it’s not for
If you need a lamp for heavy reading or detailed desk work, or you want enclosed storage, this model may feel limiting. It’s also best if you’re comfortable with a fixed 160 cm tall silhouette rather than a compact, space-saving alternative.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider this lamp when you’re furnishing a space that benefits from soft, ambient lighting, a touch of display space, and a straightforward charging station. It’s particularly sensible if you already lean toward natural materials and a minimalist, organised aesthetic.

## What to review before buying
Check room height and furniture layout to ensure the shelves won’t obstruct seating or window access. If you plan to use it as your sole light source, think about whether you’ll supplement with additional task lighting. Confirm that you’re happy with open shelving for items you want to display rather than store out of sight.

## How it compares to other approaches
Compared with separate lamps and charging blocks, this model packages lighting, display and charging into a single unit, reducing clutter. If you’d rather customise lighting colour or need higher brightness, you might opt for a dedicated floor lamp with a larger lumen output or a lamp with enclosed storage.

## Practical use example
Imagine a cosy living room corner: the lamp casts a warm glow through the white linen shade while a few framed photos sit on the shelves. A phone and tablet sit on the built-in ports as you unwind after work, with the wood finish tying in with a coffee table and plant pots nearby.

## Buying verdict
Is it worth it? Worth considering if the aim is a unified lighting-and-storage solution with a natural material look and built-in charging. It may not be the best choice if you require high-intensity task lighting or fully enclosed storage.
