The cut-to-length design gives you a practical way to adapt the hose to the route between an appliance and its drainage point. Its flexible form can be bent to suit the installation, while the stated outlet sizes support different connection arrangements. For a washing machine or dishwasher positioned further from its existing drain connection, the extension can provide the extra reach without needing to remove the hose already in place.
Practical tips
Measure the route the hose needs to follow before cutting, allowing for the bends needed to reach the drain point. Match the formed outlet or adapter to the hose connection: the adapter is intended for a 20mm internal-diameter hose, while the formed outlet end accommodates 20mm, 24mm, 30mm and 38mm sizes. When extending an existing hose, connect the adapter between the hoses and use the supplied clamps to secure the ends. The hose can also be bent to follow the installation route, keeping its path clear helps maintain unobstructed drainage.
For a straightforward replacement route, the hose can be fitted to the appliance’s drainage arrangement. Where the appliance needs additional reach, the extension setup offers a different approach: retain the existing drain hose and join the extra length to it. This makes the kit useful for household layouts where the appliance and drainage point are not close together.
Box contents
The kit contains a 3m drain hose, one U-bend hose holder, one extension adapter and four hose clamps. The holder supports the hose at the outlet, and the clamps provide fixing points at the connections.
