## Description

## The essentials
If you’ve got a PlayStation Portal for on-the-go gaming, the Orzly carry case is essentially the bit that helps keep your device looking and feeling cared for. The pitch here is simple: a snug, custom-moulded shell for the Portal and controllers, plus a screen cover to reduce the risk of scratches when it’s packed away. It’s also designed for real-life movement—travel, commutes, weekend trips, and storage between sessions.

It’s not a bulky backpack solution, and it won’t replace a full hard-shell travel case for rough handling. But for day-to-day protection and tidy accessory carrying, it’s built around practical coverage rather than gimmicks.

## What it’s designed to protect
The case is made to match the sleek lines of the PS Portal, with custom moulding intended to hold the console and controllers securely. Inside, there’s plush microfiber lining for cushioning, plus a microfiber screen cover aimed at safeguarding the delicate display surface from scratches.

There’s also an EVA sub-layer that’s described as water-resistant. That doesn’t mean it’s waterproof, so you’ll still want to keep it sensible around heavy rain or deep puddles—but it should help for light exposure, damp conditions, or the kind of accidental spills that can happen in a bag.

## Storage for chargers and the bits you always forget
One thing many people discover the hard way: it’s not just the device that needs protection, it’s the cables and charger that end up loose in a pocket. This Orzly case includes storage for the charger and other accessories, including an elastic pocket for things like charging cables.

So, instead of turning your bag into a tangle of leads, you can pack the essentials in one place. On a practical trip—say you’re leaving in the morning with your Portal, then charging it on arrival—the elastic pocket is the difference between “find the cable” and “hunt for the cable”.

## Key takeaways on materials and day-to-day feel
The outer material at the top is described as washable and easy to clean, which is useful if you’re carrying the case regularly. It also has a comfortable rubberised handle designed to be easy to grip across different hand sizes.

Worth noting: because the case is described as lightweight, it’s positioned more as protective travel storage than as something you’d throw into the back of a van with zero care. If your situation involves very rough transport, you may want to consider sturdier luggage-style protection.

## Who it suits (and who should look elsewhere)
It makes sense if you want a neat, Portal-specific carry case that covers the screen, cushions the console, and keeps charging accessories stored neatly. You’ll probably like it if you’re the kind of person who actually uses the Portal away from home—train journeys, visiting friends, holidays, or simply storing it properly between uses.

It may not suit you if you’re expecting maximum rugged, hard-case protection for extreme conditions. Also, if your priority is maximum capacity for lots of extras beyond what’s mentioned (beyond charger and typical accessories), this is more of a tailored case than a multi-compartment organiser.

## Frequently asked questions

**How does the case protect the screen?**

**Is the case easy to clean?**
The special top material is described as washable and easy to clean.

**Is it water-resistant or fully waterproof?**
It’s described as having an EVA sub-layer with water resistance, but there’s no claim that it’s waterproof.

**Is there any warranty?**
The brand states it offers a one-year replacement warranty.

## Is it worth it?
Worth buying if you want Portal-specific protection for travel and storage, with cushioning, a screen cover, and built-in accessory space for the charger and cables—without overcomplicating your packing.

You may want to skip it if you need truly heavy-duty protection for rough transport, or if you’re after a larger organiser for lots of extra gear. For most everyday scenarios where the Portal is moving around with you, this looks like a sensible, targeted carry case rather than an all-in-one gimmick.
