## Description

This family board game mixes sneaky movement with simple counting to keep younger children engaged while they learn basic number skills. Dino-Snore-Us turns a race for dinosaur eggs into playful suspense as players try not to wake the sleeping T-Rex, making it suitable for parties, rainy afternoons or casual family play.

## Key Points

Dino-Snore-Us is built around a roll-or-spin mechanic where children collect eggs while trying to avoid triggering the T-Rex. The game encourages interaction through sound effects, prompting everyone to roar or snore during play and adding laughter and energy. According to the manufacturer, it is aimed at children aged 4 and over and supports early numeracy by asking players to count eggs and recognise numbers on the spinner.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name:** **Orchard Toys Dino-Snore-Us Game**
- Age range: 4 years and up
- Players: suitable for small groups, family play
- Educational focus: counting and number recognition
- Components: spinner, egg tokens, T-Rex mechanism, play board

## Benefits

The gameplay balances chance and decision-making in short rounds that hold a young child’s attention. Counting eggs every turn helps reinforce simple arithmetic in a natural, playful context. The shared vocal elements, where everyone participates in roaring or snoring, promote social interaction and make it easier for shy children to join in.

## Usage Recommendations

Set up takes only a few minutes, making the game good for quick sessions between other activities. For younger players, adults can support number recognition by asking players to count aloud as they collect eggs. Consider playing cooperative rounds at first where players work together to collect a target number of eggs, especially when introducing the rules to toddlers.

Consider that the game relies on a novelty T-Rex mechanism and sound-based reactions, which may be too energetic for very quiet settings or for children who are sensitive to sudden noises. According to the manufacturer, its primary benefit is combining fun with early learning rather than providing advanced strategy gameplay.
