## Description

## What these replacement heads are for
If you use an Oral-B iO electric toothbrush, these replacement brush heads are the sort of thing you buy to keep your routine consistent rather than to “upgrade” it. On paper, the pitch is pretty clear: extra soft bristles aimed at sensitive gums, plus gentle plaque removal. You also get colour-changing bristles designed to cue when it’s time to swap the head.

## Key takeaways for everyday use
The main thing you’ll notice with Gentle Care heads is that they focus on being gentle. The heads are described as densely packed with up to 4,000 soft bristles, which should help with coverage without being harsh on gum tissue.

Just as importantly, the bristles are said to change colour. That’s useful because it removes a bit of guesswork from replacement timing: when the bristles fade to white, it’s a sign to replace the head to maximise the clean.

One practical way to think about it: if you’ve ever rinsed a brush head and thought “it still looks fine”, colour-changing bristles make it harder to ignore gradual wear. It’s a small feature, but it can save you from continuing with a head that’s past its best.

## Where they shine (and where they don’t)
These heads make the most sense if you’re prioritising comfort. Extra soft bristles for sensitive gums are exactly the kind of spec that tends to matter to people who find standard bristles a bit much, or who want a calmer feeling while still sticking with an electric.

That said, there’s a limitation to keep in mind: they’re exclusive for Oral-B iO handles. So if you don’t have an iO handle, it’s not the right route—replacement heads need the correct fit, and this one is specifically designed for that range.

Also, “gentle plaque removal” is not the same as aggressive stain-busting. If you’re the sort of person who expects a very firm, high-intensity clean every day, this may feel more like a comfort-first choice than a maximum-power one.

## Who it suits best
It’s a good fit if you want:
- A replacement head plan you can follow without overthinking (using the colour cue).
- Extra soft bristles as part of a sensitive-gums routine.
- A brush head designed specifically for Oral-B iO handles.

It may not suit you if you’re using a different toothbrush handle type, or if you prefer a firmer feel and don’t really need the extra softness.

## Should you buy it?
## Final verdict
Buying these is a sensible move if you already own an Oral-B iO handle and you want replacement heads that are gentle on gums, with a clear cue for when to change them. The “replace every 3 months” guidance and colour-changing bristles are especially handy if you’d rather not rely on visual inspection alone.

Skip it if you’re not committed to the Oral-B iO system, because the fit is designed exclusively for Oral-B iO handles. And if you’re chasing a more forceful clean, keep expectations realistic: this is positioned as gentle care, not high-intensity scraping.

## Mini FAQ
### How often should I replace these brush heads?
The guidance provided is to replace every 3 months, and also to watch for the bristles fading to white.

### What tells me when it’s time to change?
The brush heads include colour-changing bristles. When the bristles fade to white, that’s the intended reminder.

### Are these compatible with other electric toothbrush handles?
The information says they’re exclusive for Oral-B iO handles, so compatibility outside that range isn’t supported here.

### Is this meant for sensitive gums?
Yes—these replacement heads are described as having extra soft bristles for sensitive gums and gentle plaque removal.

### Does the packaging stay the same?
The note says packaging may vary, so exact packaging appearance isn’t guaranteed.
