The pack contains six black Ultimate Clean heads, with angled bristles intended to reach along the gum line and colour-changing bristles that fade towards white as a reminder to replace the head. Oral-B says the design removes up to 100% more plaque along the gum line than a regular manual toothbrush. Treat that as the brand’s comparison claim rather than a guarantee of the result you will get: brushing technique and regular replacement still matter. Bear in mind that these heads are made exclusively for Oral-B iO handles, so they are not a general replacement for other Oral-B electric toothbrushes. ## Best use cases These make sense if you have an iO handle and want a supply of matching heads for routine home use. It suits you if you prefer to keep the same handle and change the brush head as the bristles wear, rather than replacing the whole toothbrush. The pack format is also useful for planning ahead, although there is no need to change your brushing routine just because you have spare heads. A practical example: when the bristles have faded towards white, swap the head before your next morning or evening clean. The colour change gives you a visible prompt, while the stated replacement guidance is every three months. If your current handle is not from the iO range, these are the wrong type, a compatible head for that handle matters more than the Ultimate Clean name. ## Tips for day-to-day use Use the fading bristles as a reminder, not as a reason to keep a head indefinitely if it already looks worn. Oral-B advises replacing it every three months, and says worn bristles can make cleaning harder and leave plaque behind. Keep the spare heads somewhere dry and easy to find so replacing one does not become an afterthought. The angled bristle layout is intended to help clean along the gum line, but the head alone cannot ensure a particular result. Brush carefully and give each area attention rather than relying on the design to do the work for you. If you are comparing these with a basic manual brush, the appeal here is the iO-specific fit and a built-in replacement cue, someone seeking a simple, non-electric setup may prefer to keep things manual. ## Practical doubts **Will these fit any Oral-B electric toothbrush?** No. They are designed exclusively for Oral-B iO handles, so check that your handle is from the iO range before choosing them. **When should the head be replaced?** The supplied guidance is every three months. The bristles also change colour and fade towards white to signal that replacement is due. **Are they suitable for someone wanting a manual brush?** No. These are replacement heads for an iO electric toothbrush, not standalone toothbrushes. ## Buying verdict Choose these if you already own an Oral-B iO handle and want matching Ultimate Clean replacement heads with a visible wear cue. The six-head pack is less useful if you are still deciding which toothbrush system to buy, since it commits you to iO compatibility. You may want to skip it if your handle belongs to another range or you want a brush that works without a powered handle. ## Images ![Oral-B iO electric toothbrush heads, pack of 6 — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/qEPOhvlb41LRdakdZrvKyeOXuiin4WRFfz-CBE6ME-zP5uJmsLZf1KPDs487Zo5jFrbCAQb5T1gaOQr_h7z_zht1Xx2BA5xV6EhhFkuMN6uig52rjxoh.jpg) ![Oral-B iO electric toothbrush heads, pack of 6 — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/tLERsJ3U2YVzvu1KI9HQFFoeQ3YHgVqTh8v80_x-ADrghJrpR4tixzXLvd2h4UfJ8DTq8VWYK7OhECeRwW85XyjMJUbh5LQqo3a_C9VL-3GRvUPNySnG.jpg) ![Oral-B iO electric toothbrush heads, pack of 6 — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/OfrNKcypCqv2BKivhW0TqcTZ-9bE_6K_BpXTp-L5l5wphPQJ2WTSgenIWlSecoWlMAFSV0Rg5CqyimTaBpgNnoo6u21bf5onUSrwJktFieCYI2dsWZ9R.jpg) ![Oral-B iO electric toothbrush heads, pack of 6 — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/hJCogbWxlioQLPH5PC1AfIggrWqf6oLlAWiEejGoq0bFOTV-nMErmaZWyjUTYeBVkhutJFRIPQGyAxSGBCTMJsirPUZyM5LpEMWOKglacj2bI8BurYBo.jpg) ![Oral-B iO electric toothbrush heads, pack of 6 — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/5wdKdCTwnC5i_bPmyk8ivHC8bW0_x58EcZMGJ9ivgrEVwadO5FKofqKSOaowfrZSJMn-iPvLn7bAtg6q8DX2dSanX1hcWE7UvxwAlmCL2ZvyyiIZdFiA.jpg)
