## Description

This compact Bluetooth keyboard from OMOTON brings a familiar UK QWERTY layout to iPads, iPhones and other Bluetooth‑enabled tablets and phones, helping you type longer messages and edit documents more comfortably while on the move. It is lightweight and slim, with a silver finish that fits neatly into a bag for travel or daily commuting.

## Key Points

The keyboard connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and claims a working range of up to 10 metres according to the manufacturer. It includes dedicated iPad shortcut keys for volume, music control and brightness, which speeds up common tasks when paired with iOS devices. Battery life is noteworthy, with up to 30 days of continuous use in regular conditions and an automatic sleep mode that can extend time between battery changes to around six months using two AAA batteries, not included. The compact footprint balances typing comfort with portability.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **OMOTON Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for iOS**
- Layout: UK QWERTY keyboard layout
- Compatibility: iPad Pro/Air/Mini, iPhone models and other Bluetooth tablets and phones
- Power: 2 x AAA batteries required, not included
- Range: Up to 10 metres (manufacturer specification)

## Usage Recommendations

Pairing is straightforward: enable Bluetooth on your device and select the keyboard from the available accessories list. For the best typing experience, place the keyboard on a flat surface and allow for a short familiarisation period to adapt to the low‑profile keys. Keep spare AAA batteries available if you plan extended travel, because battery replacement is required rather than charging. Note that some shortcut functions depend on the iOS version and device model, so a small variation in behaviour may occur between different iPads or iPhones.

## Positive Aspects

The silver finish and slim design make this a discreet accessory for everyday use, and the presence of multimedia and brightness keys adds convenience when working with Apple tablets. It is a practical option for anyone wanting greater typing speed than on‑screen keyboards while maintaining a very portable setup. A minor limitation is the reliance on disposable batteries rather than a rechargeable battery pack, which may influence running costs and environmental preferences.
