OMIDEAS 10 x Flat Joining Plates 120x40x2mm
Product description
The essentials
These galvanised perforated joining plates are designed for robust timber connections in a range of indoor and outdoor projects. The 120 x 40 mm plates are 2 mm thick, giving a solid base for stable joints and durable repairs. Each pack contains ten plates with a practical 12 x Ø 5 mm hole pattern that supports versatile fastening options using screws or bolts. The galvanised steel construction ensures good corrosion resistance, helping them stand up to seasonal changes and everyday wear 🛠️. The staggered holes are offset in each row, a thoughtful feature that distributes load more evenly and reduces stress concentrations at the joint. This design choice helps prevent splitting and enhances overall joint strength, making these plates suitable for furniture building, shelving and exterior woodwork 🏚️. The pre-drilled holes mean faster, more secure installation with standard fasteners, minimising handling time for DIY projects or professional repairs. They are a practical, value-for-money solution when you need reliable, repeatable connections in timber construction. In everyday use, these plates provide a quiet confidence for projects that demand long-term reliability and straightforward maintenance. The robust metal offers a degree of flexibility during assembly, helping you adapt to slight misalignments without sacrificing strength 🧰. Whether upgrading a piece of furniture or rebuilding a small outdoor structure, these plates help you achieve solid joints with professional results. The durable galvanised coating also helps resist the elements if used outdoors, supporting longevity in balcony railings, sheds or garden furniture. With ten plates in a pack, you can standardise multiple joints across a project, improving consistency and reducing the need for frequent trips to the hardware store. For hobbyists and tradespeople alike, the OMIDEAS plates deliver practical performance with a straightforward, dependable fixing solution that requires no hidden tricks or specialist tools. Overall, they provide a straightforward path to secure, lasting timber connections that you can trust over time 🪚.
