## Description

## Key points

The OLAYMEY GY2000 1600W handheld steamer is a compact garment steamer designed for quick de-wrinkling at home or on the move. It delivers a concentrated jet steam rate of 25g per minute according to the product details, so you can smooth creases and refresh fabrics without an ironing board. The unit is lightweight and easy to handle, making short ironing sessions less of a chore.

## Tech specs

- Name: OLAYMEY GY2000
- Power: 1600W
- Capacity: detachable water tank
- Weight: 0.64kg
- Type: handheld steamer

## Benefits

This steamer balances power and portability, offering continuous steam that tackles stubborn creases and odours in a few passes. It is useful when you need a faster option than a traditional iron, and the detachable transparent water tank makes refills straightforward. The one-button control and quick heat-up reduce setup time, which helps on busy mornings.

## Getting the most from it

It’s a good fit if you need a portable solution for frequent travel or small living spaces, as the compact shape and low weight suit packing and quick touch-ups. Bear in mind that steamers do not press fabrics flat like a heavy iron, so if crisp creases are essential you may still prefer a traditional iron for those jobs.

## Care & maintenance

Rinse and empty the water tank after use to avoid deposits building up, and allow the unit to cool fully before storage. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and descale following manufacturer recommendations if you live in a hard water area. The removable tank helps keep maintenance simple.

The OLAYMEY GY2000 works vertically and horizontally for 360° steaming and is aimed at everyday users who want a quick, practical way to remove wrinkles and refresh garments while travelling or at home.
